Ok, so my CD drive stops working, stops reading music CDs.

Plus the CD I just got, Kasabian, is a protected (read ghey) CD, which means it won't work on my sister computer either.

So, I have the brilliant plan of using her CD player, putting the CD in, hooking it up to my microphone socket in the back of my computer and playing and recording the CD onto a huge MP3 file using some nice recording software I have.

Bad news is that I don't have anything to split it apart in to separate songs...so, the question is...

What could I use to split it up? Preferably freeware, or at least if you suggest something shareware tell me where to or give me a crack for it.

plzkthnx? Kasabian are awesome, and I need them lots more, in small chunks too so I can listen to Club Foot and Reason Is Treason over and over rather than finding the place for it in a huge MP3 file.

EDIT : Ok, I need a good recording software too, since I found out that Creative Media Source really sucks for recording anything. Again, freeware or cracked shareware.
