The results of a new study recently came out:

All I have to say is "No s*** Sherlock!". Why do stupid studies that restate the obvious get funding all of the time and the results published like they have never been thought of before?

Is anyone else getting sick of this garbage? I want to take a 2x4 to the head of the people that gave them the money to run this study because there are 1,000,001 uses for that money that are better suited than for restating the obvious. I also get sick of these studies because American schools keep cutting PE, music, art, etc... classes and then they wonder why their kids get fatter and have no imagination or motivation.

I stopped reading when they started comparing first-graders to kindergarteners.

Geez. I am getting sick of these. But you gotta admit, some are very interesting...you know...when they actually ARE interesting. This particular one though...

Exercise doesn't cut down on obesity in girls.

Wiring their jaws shut does.

I made a study of my own, and I wasn't given government funding. Here it is:

People who shoot themselves in the head then get thrown under trains then stamped on by big ostriches die.

I think it's a better study than that one you linked to. Mainly 'cause it y'know, involves big ostriches. :spin:

No, that study is now wrong. I just came out with a new study that says that only if the Osterich is driving the train will the person die.

Unless the train is purple, in which case it doesn't matter WHO drives it. :joker:

A recent study claimed that 100% of obese people are obese.

Shocking.
