Why do you like this game?

Personally I dont like it because of blitzball. I just dont like it in general. Though the movies and graphics were nice, the music sucked. I had to listen to my CD player.

But there were some funny moments like when Paine wanted to hurt someone...that was cool.

Oh and I think the worst character in the game was either brother or Rikku.

brother-He wanted to *DO* Yuna.

Rikku-Shes so blonde...stupid...cheery...want to hurt her.

But this is just my opinions. Please share yours with me and the rest of the peoples.

They made Blitzball in X-2 into one of the worst mini-games in history!
Why couldn't they have kept it how it was in X?!

I thought that most of the game was stupid. Final Fantasy before it had a consistant enjoyable plot, whereas FFX-2 gave you a very brief part of the main plot every chapter. The whole thing would take 5 minutes to tell. Also Shuyin being the last boss was too close to Tidus being the last boss for my comfort. Made Yevon look like a promising train of thought.
I've always seen sidequests and mini-games as something to trail away from the main game. I've never thought it worthy to make a came that's made entirely of sidequests and mini-games.
That said, what little plot it did have was alright. I liked the Crimson Sphere cave scenes.

That said, what little plot it did have was alright. I liked the Crimson Sphere cave scenes. There are about five separate plot lines throughout X-2, all which are interrelated - Shuyin/Lenne, the Youth League/New Yevon in-fighting, the Crimson Squad backstory, Sphere Hunters and their goals. It's all inter-connected, which is another strong theme in the game.

I liked the game. I just kinda saw it as seeing how all your old buddies are doing, and bringing the world back together. some parts are a little gay, but what do you expect from a game with 3 chicks as the main characters?

I liked this game as well.

The best part was the fast battles.

You can't fully appreciate the storyline until you get 100% and fully understand why things happen the way they do. Shuyin is the man. Period.

i got 100% and imho the story sucks. it really was not the epic continuation of ffX i was expecting. very weak connections u could spot a mile away. Via Infinito did not reveal Yevon's *darkest secrets*. very riduclous. awful button bashing combat did not help. i feel like square are sacrificing intricate battle 4 a more real time non-rpg combat 2 sell more copies.

of course sum ppl like it, and thats fine. its a very fun game 4 sure. but falls well short of my expected ff standards.

What I really like about X-2 is that it is probably only true "love themed" FF. VII had a love triangle but it wasn't really about love. VIII was love oriented but the whole Rinoa and Squall relationship wasn't convincing at all. To me, X-2 is the only true game with a love storyline. Heck, everyone has a significant other at one point or another, some even have more than one. You got Barkeep with his woman. Brother with his crush. Gippal with his player status. Nooj and LeBlanc. Shuyin and Lenne. Tidus and Yuna. Call me a sap, but hey I'd rather see a nice love story than the whole save the world theme.

well ffX had a main theme of love that i found convincing. and ffIX slow build up of love between Zidane and Garnet was heart warming.

i have to admit the perfect end of ffX-2 was the best part of the game. but that was because of how amazing ffX was.

Ya, I like the idea that up until chapter five you're just searching for a
lost friend. It's definitely a good change from the typical save the world
plot.

a most sleep inducing change imho. this was probably the only post ffIII ff game i did not play obsessivley. i was only driven on by my desperate wish to find out Tidus's fate...which was a huge disapointment.
