So yeah, I downloaded the Razorlight album (yes, downloaded, I don't think paying £14.99 for an album is right at all), after hearing many mixed reviews and I've suprisingly found I liked them.
Somewhere along the lines of an English version of The Strokes (though the pappy of The Strokes lead guitar is English, I might add) with a hefty dose of indie, they rock and roll their way through 14 above average tracks, with a few outstanding ones, such as Up All Night, and Golden Touch. Admittedly, the album does fall into a somewhat lacklustre effort after track 12, In The City it's suprisingly good.
Just not good enough that I'd ACTUALLY pay money for it. Or go see them live, like I was asked to a few months ago.
Anyway, on to download The Libertines album!
And in the mean time, tell me what you think of Razorlight, and also, if Nicky hasn't heard of them you all have the right to maim her Travis and Coldplay collection.
