I think the three-month pruning must have made quite a difference (only the General category gets regularly pruned), but I was still surprised to see some things such as only 11 posts by me in EoEO, let alone only 27 in the Lounge.

So, who else here is a sucker for statistics? I can't help but play around with them every now and then.

Yeah, even with 811 posts (813 or so now), I was still a bit surprised at how few I had. Definitely due to the pruning, though. I think we have this forum auto-pruning once threads are three months old, or something like that. Not to mention that when we moved away from the Gamesquad hosting, we clean-slated the general forums but left the FF, Staff and reference forums. So that'd influence it.

I am a sucker for stats! I'm always meaning to make a chart of each forum's activity on a regular basis but I've never got a round to it. Because of pruning, the chart you made doesn't really tell us much, it is neat though.

Staff forums never get pruned, nor do archives, nor do Help / Feedback. If you post in any of these forums, you've basically immortalised your EoFF account. Unless of course we DO decide to prune them someday, although I think that'd be pretty stupid.

The Project is a subforum of Site Staff - we put all the completed work there so we can keep a good idea of how much stuff is actually being worked on / needs completing. Land of exDee is the Senior Site Staff forum, which only SSS, SS, Admins and CK's can see.

I am an unbelievable stat whore, mainly due to sports. I memorize the dumbest things. I keep track of every Rangers' batting average, home runs, and RBIs, as well as the pitchers' ERAs.

I made a statistics sheet for the 2006 Rangers, the year I have them picked to win the WS. It's incredible how detailed I got, down to how many strikeouts each person achieved.
