If you had a chance to know your future, would you? If so, how far would you want to look? Next year? 2 years? 5 years?

Personally, I want to look maybe 7 years down the line. I don't know why...maybe by then I'll have a family and a good job or something. But I know that could alter my future just by knowing...so it's a bit of a double edged sword or a catch-22.

I remember doing this kind of thread on another forum and noticed that most people who were a bit down wanted to look ahead while those who were happy with their lives didn't want to know. I guess it's because those who have it worst think it can't get any worst so they are tempted to look ahead while those who have it good don't want to know the future for the potential it can be a lot worst. There is some truth to that, but to each his own.

I've always said, in the past, that no, I wouldn't. But now, I don't know. It's not because I'm depressed---quite the opposite. But it is tempting, to say the least.

On second thought, no. It's not meant to be. I'm content with being completely surprised.

I'm fairly sure I wouldn't because if I'm anything like I am now I'd be... I'd be doing something psychic-gypsy-lady doesn't need to see.

I'd look into the future after my exams when I am going through the answers. That way I'll know them and can use them in the exam and get 100% :)

I'd see the whole thing, spoilers and all. Not knowing what lies in the future makes now seem not worth bothering with, so knowing something nice happens later on would give me something to look forward to.

I wouldn't look. No need. I would either see something good, which I'm expecting to see, or I'd see something terrible and dread the future.
