expansion pack??

I just bought the game and am wondering if I should wait to play Final Fantasy XI before loading on Rise of Zilart???? :confused:

Well, you CAN wait. You don't NEED the expansion pack in order to play the game, but it's not going to hurt either. You'll be able to get the new jobs and quests as soon as they're available to you if you install RotZ now, or you could wait until you've gotten the hang of the game a little better. It's up to you.

Just load Rise of Zilart as soon as you've installed FFXI. It's just an expansion, so it's not going to hinder your starting out gameplay in any way.
