In this forum I hang out at, we have a 'pigme' status for people who are jackasses. It's not quite banned -- they can post, but they have a huge time limit between posts.

We're discussing dumping them into a 'pigme' forum, like australia was a criminal island once.

A more pressing matter is preventing 'newbies' to spam our boards. I suggest a separate category called 'newbie' which consists of people with < 50 posts (or whatever), and somehow censor them so they can't use hyperlinks and/or .com/net/sars
