Specifically music, I've been looking on WinMX and Emule for some stuff, and didn't find what I was after...

The short answer is to look harder. Since P2P depends on people having the file you want, you just need to look in more places.

Soulseek is a pretty good one.

SoulSeek. That's where I get all my hard to find Japanese punk.

I use mIRC fileservers. #mp3passion on Undernet for literally any song you could ever want. There about about 300 users about half of which have around 30,000 mp3s each. :p

Can you use @find in there, Face? :p

Okay, that chan seriously kicks ass I found 3 variations (from different albums that weren't ever released, I suppose) of the song I was after.

Glad I could help. :)

You'd better not try. @find works a little too well in there. :p

Actually, I tried it yesterday, and I didn't get any response at all :p Either that, or I guess music from Japan isn't too popular in there? :p

It's easier to be vague and sift through alot of results, if you're after something rare. I still can't find some of the songs I was after, but it did get me more results then SoulSeek or other p2p clients.
