They just had the Anime Weekend Atlanta convention this weekend in Atlanta. I've never been to one before so this was pretty kewl. :D Seeing all them cosplayers made me wish I had cosplayed too. :( It was awesome there, with all the things going on. My favorite part was where the guy who makes MegaTokyo talked. And the woman who does the voice for Robin from Witch Hunter Robin. And a load of others. ;) I even got to watch the 3rd Inuyasha movie and Full Metal Alchemist. :S But I never ever want to see another live action Sailor Moon show.

Has anyone else here been to an anime con? :) And if you have been, did you cosplay?

I've been to a couple, yeah. They're pretty fun, and there are things you can buy in the dealer's room that you'd never find anywhere else.

I went to Fanimecon this year ^^ No, I didn't cosplay, though should have.

Anime conventions scare the heck out of me, but to each their own. I just prefer to huddle in my room watching anime instead of socialising with others who like anime SO MUCH that it deprives them of some sort of arbitary "healthy balance", yknow?

*shudder*

incidentally, my brother buys an artist table at anime/comic conventions and sells stuff to make additional funds. You anime fans are so insane that he practically sells out his posters every day...despite selling them for a ludicrous profit. That's why I don't think you guys are that bad :D

We have Sakuracon here in Seattle, it's rather fun. I don't cosplay though.

I always forget to go to the conventions... I went to E3 once, but every other thing I've forgotten to get tickets soon enough.

I've thought about finding out about some near here and going, just to see. I'm not a huge fan of anime, but I think it'd be interesting. It'd just be tough to con my friends into going with me.
