View Full Version : How Do You Like Your Toast?
Simple really, how burnt (If at all) do you like your toast to be?
I personally like it scorched beyond believe, it just tastes better that way.

Depends. Usually until its around 50% black, and crunchy as cheetos.

Well done and left to cool for a minute so that the butter doesn't melt and make the bread go soggy. Gotta throw some marmite on that bad boy too!

Plain, perhaps with some strawberry jelly. Not really burnt at all.

I like it with peanut butter and jam :p
I like mine crunchy, but not burnt. For me, burnt toast just isn't very pleasant to eat.
Also, the only thing that ever gets spread on my toast is butter.

I agree with Strider.
Dude, I have Cheetos in my kitchen. *goes after cheetos*

Lightly toasted, with the middle soft. Dark brown or burnt is too scratchy for my throat, and I hate scraping the black off.

Brown bread, ever so lightly toasted that butter just sinks in. No surface butter. It must all sink in. Then it's gorgeous

Oooh this sounds so good, my thoughts exactly... Then just sprinkle some sugar and cinnamin over it... Delicious. (And margarine not butter, I hate real butter, non-spreading bland-tasting crap)

Hmm. Toasting bread isn't very common over here, but when I do toast bread I like it best with butter and sugar or ham and cheese.

I like mine barely toasted at all-just a tiny crunch. And with lots of lemon curd on there, approved by The Queen. Yes; I like my toast royal.
But if I'm not in the mood for that, I love raspberry, or merrionberry jam on it. *drool*. Orange marmalade is also excellent.

I like my toast a golden brown, with a nice helping of jam. Generally strawberry jam; the kind with big strawberry chunks in it. Good stuff.
Dammit, now I want toast but I have no bread.

Slightly burnt, and sometimes with jam.
However, I'll only eat toast if there's nothing else for breakfast.
