This isn't exactly breaking news.

For the record, though, the scan does identify the flying monster as Bahamut.

And Zaphier yes alot have said that the guy in the wheelchair is
Rufus ;) because look why would a truk stand next to Sephiroth?

I'd think it's Hojo actually. If you seen in the trailer Sephiroth kinda cherishes him, kinda lika a son would to a sick old father.

Sephiroth hates Hojo, for one.

For two, in the trailer they screened in Venice, the wheelchair dude is refered to as Mr. President. Third, I dont think any Turk would give enough of a damn about Hojo to bother with him.

There's something that just bugs me though. There have been screens that seem to show Reno and Rude going up against the clones. However, if it is Rufus- which now, I have no doubt it is- why would they be going up against the clones? We clearly see Yazoo kneeling down before the guy as if he serves him, and Kadaj stands around him as well.

Why would the minions of the same guy fight?

I'd think it's the other way around. When kadaj says something like [/SPOILER]"So it seems you have betrayed me." Who else would he be saying that about, besides, maybe the other clones. But that doesn't make sense....[SPOILER/]

hmmm... i have some theaories about some things... maybe reno and rude are fighting the clones because of the reason we havent seen any shot of elena...
it's 90 present sure that the white-caped isnt hojo... i dont think it's rufus either... i belive it's just the new president of shinra.... i went to FF&:AC web site and there was some kind of a shinra something.... i dont know japanise so i cant realy tell... so i guess we havent heard the last of them...
by the hand expretions that the white-caped is doing, i dont belive it's aeris either....
just my toughts...

The wheelchair man seems to have a white beard while rufus is young and ginger. I think its somebody else.

hm...i didn't notice....i agree rufus is a lot different looking. zangan who's that? huh....i feal an emptiness inside. i just beat sephiroth. and it took me only probably 31 minutes and i only used one omnislash on him and none of my ppl died and i only had 8040-3490 hp vincent's was 7490 and tifa's was 3490. why do i feal this way??? -_-

I've recently seen a trailer and some game show, and it is NOT a beard at all. In that photo it's pixelated so it seems greyer or whiter than usual, but it's his neck.

Maybe the bahamut thing could be a new Weapon......and since it's a dragon, it oculd a kind-of-counter part of Ultima weapon, and could be Omega Weapon. Ultima weapon was a coward dragon, and this could be an "I smash everything to ashes" dragon.
I'm just supposing....

And maybe Cloud flying is related to the dragon.

I think Cloud's limit break is rushing to counter Bahamut's mega-flare, as in the trailers it keeps switching back and forth between Cloud shooting upwards and Bahamut spewing giant blue flames.

Yes, Cloud shoots up into the air. You can see it at the bottom right corner of the scan at the beginning of this thread. They say he's using a limit break.

He's not flying, it's a limit break. He shoots up into the air, that's it. It's more like a really, really high jump.

yeah! Bahamut was cooler in FFX version. i never play these 2 series, but i've seen a lot of screen caps. everywhere. and i know exactly that Bahamut was much better and cooler in FFX (maybe it's because of the graphics, isn't it?) :love:

If I had to guess, I'd say it's Zero. He was the only one who shot a blue laser/flame, right? Bahamut has blue flames spewing from his mouth in the trailer.

Meh, I liked the old-school Bahamuts more than I liked FFX Bahamut, Bahamut Zero being my favorite. Another thing that points to the possibility of that monster being Bahamut is how the silver-haired guy(I forget his name) summons him, or does something that looks like he summons him.
