So the good ol' Stick will be renamed MONSTER PARK here in San Francisco soon, and it got me to thinking.

Are there any businesses around where you live (or just businesses in general) that would make a horrible sponsor for an arena, ampitheatre or stadium nearby? Use some Photoshop or MS Paint skills and come up with some doozies for the rest of us to admire.

THere's a store down the road called the Poo-poo Shack.

No, not really. I just can't think of anything right now.

yea, especially since it isn't even Pac Bell anymore. I like Turner Field as a name. I think Great American Ballpark is a horrible name since it tries to hide the fact that it is a corporate name, and Great American Insurance is Carl Lindner's company and he has run the Reds into the ground.

They will always be Pac Bell and Candlestick. Always.

I toronto they changed the name of The Warehouse (which was well known and cool) to the Cool Haus. Now it's just embarrassing to say you are going there.

hahaha i'm just dumb. I think i zoned out when reading the original post or forgot what it was about and made up my own :rolleyes2 . so just ignore this one cause I am stupid. thank you :)

Some NHL team's home arena's name was Gaylord meadow, or something like that. One of the new expansion teams.

Oh well, even that is better than some lame sponsored "Compaq Center" that my Sharks are playing in right now. I liked simple San Jose Arena much more.

But for the fans, it'll always be The Shark Tank.

The Former Nashville Predators played in the Gaylord Entertainment Center.

Uh...Ameriquest Field in Arlington? Pssh. I like the Ballpark in Arlington.
