Vincentland has, reportedly, fully recovered from the unexpected departure of their leader. Sources say they have decided to run the country as a whole, not singeling out one specific person. Whether or not this will turn out to be a successful decision, only time can tell...

Atlantica Unites

The various politicians of the nations of Atlantica rallied together yesterday in a successful attempt to keep Baloki Noar as their leader. Noar, who had been considering his retirement, woke up to see people from all of Atlantica's islands - including those which would generally prefer not to be in the same place as each other - as they showed their respect to his leadership and their desire for him to continue to hold the various nations together. Atlantica has been going through a tense period lately as nearby nation and Zhem has cut off political communication. Zhem controls the major trade routes that exist between Atlantica and the rest of the world.

Monarchy Falls

Meanwhile, half way around the world, Desierto was following in the footsteps of Atlantica as High King Escobar decided that it was time to move on. Escobar, who has been a quiet leader for the largely Ingmarian nation, is rumoured to have agreed to allow for Desierto to become a territory or dependency of the nation of Fiorenseo. No detail has yet been provided as to what enticed Yebus t'Emirano, the prime minister of Fiorenseo, to take power over such distant lands, nor what will become of Escobar. The Ingmarian people of Desierto have so far shown no signs of protest, however it is reported there is much unease and an eerie quietness in Ohne Wasser as possibly the most powerful Ingmarian in Eizon has stepped down.

Atlantica Times - International Edition

Assination attempt!!
This morning at around 2:30pm EIT (Eizon International Time), about 12:30pm EIT+10 an assanination attempt on the Isle of Nauticus' central council representive was carried out. It is reported that the attempt was a falure and local security representitives confirm that the LokiKnights have claimed responsibility. However not many more details are avalible at this time as security services try and stop rioting in the streets and have classified the whole event.

LokiKnights are one of the terrorist groups orginating from the old Isle of Loki kingdom, they wish to destabalise the country and return the nation to its previous warring state.


Technology Advancements Halted
Recent developments at the institute of technology and the future have been destroyed in a recent terrorist attack, at the moment details are very sketchy however sources indicate that the attack orrginated from the Zhem coastline. Port security at Amphoria has been increased and their are worries this is only a prelude to Zhems plans. Officials on the other hand are playing down the attack as an unfortunate accident resulting from a misaligned engine and tell the people not to worry.


Zhem Blockade Continues
The continuing blockade from Zhem is starting to worry the people, riots are breaking out and a new political movement known as IceBreak are campaigning for action to be taken against Zhem. Officials however remain strangly quiet.

Today in Hermes a typical scene was reversed when a canine much loved by their owner was chasing a squirrel up a tree and got stuck. However the fire brigade was not needed as a local hero cat saved the pooch.

Vincentland, a nation that was soon at the brink of destruction, when more and more citizen left was now taken into the hands of Seiken, the ruler of SSL, as well as this nation. Although, the holidays are still going to differ from each other, as the culture brought up by Vincent06 will stay!

New Canadians have nowhere to go
New Canada has entered a state of anarchy. It was not long ago in international times that nik0tine and his fellow Socialist party colleagues retired into the underground of Eizon, never to be heard of again. In these times of confusion, only one other party rose up, and Ellekerm (said party's leader) renamed Town Over Yonder to New Canada. Since then, however, little progress has been made in establishing any sort of law or law enforcement, and now the citizens of this country are attempting to flee in all areas while unorganised crime reigns on in Ellekerm City. Neighbouring country Ellenanora has taken in many people from this lawless land, however much concern has been made about the lack of leadership in this nation also. Eisgaea, once a thriving continent, is often labelled the political third world of Eizon.

Tradesmen in Aura have expressed their concern as they are losing stock to pirates in New Canada. Experts estimate 80% of Aura's trade with the Western lands of Annifontia and Myridia travels through New Canadian waters. No news has come from the political leaders of Aura on such concerns at this time, nor from those of Atlantica, however they are expected to raise this as an issue. With Zhem already influencing trade routes to Atlantica, Dominia could soon be facing times just as bad as those of Eisgaea.

National Assembly of Atlantica - Public Statement

The following public statement seems to have been made several days ago, however due to increased communicative difficulties has only just come to light in the international arena.

It has been reported in recent news that the nation of Zhem has been attempting to gain control of our main trade routes, we would first off like to dismiss this as speculative and trade is up 10% on the previous years trade of 15 ships a year. However we as a government have concerns that the latest terrorist activities perpetrated throughout the nation are being influenedced by Zhem. Therefore we have commenced an increased military research program and have introduced more border control guards, this is only a temperary solution however, and with our complete exclusion from the international community at the moment we are attempting to regain and re-establish some kind of communications with previous allies, however we are unsure in this changing climate if they still exsist.

We would also like to confirm to the technological community that even though our main airship facility was hit in a terrorist bombing last year the technology is still coming on in leaps and bounds and our scientists say that it should be complete some time soon, however to try and crack some of the last obsticals we will be holding a conference to try and find solutions to the engine power output problems and other such issues.

Please stay calm citizens, and always be vigilent.

He made few changes and is currently working on new trade routes for Aura. He Has also started building train tracks and has discussed making a ferry route breifly with the United Nations of Atlantica.....

One of Vincentland's holidays has arrived: War Day, which is on the 15th of October is when Vincentland goes to war with anearby country for a short period of time, although, around this time, it's unclear if we will still carry this out. Many neighbouring nations of Vincentland are allies, and we cannot go to war unless they accept. More will be posted later on.

New leader of Mulletopia, Max Preton, who has taken over since Flying Mullet's long absense of power, has reopened the nation of Mulletopia to vacation goers around Eizon. Since taking leadership, Preton will work with his fellow Annifontian leaders to work for a plan to increase business in the vacation-heavy industry of Mulletopia.

Largly self-sufficient, they now have decided that it is time to share a few bits of technology to the rest of the world. What this technology IS is yet to be confirmed. (another suspected reason is that they want to go to Mulletopia......).

<b>New Leaders In Eisgaea.</b>
Three nations have collapsed and introduced new leadership and nations to replace the old nations.

First it was New Canada. After being taken over by barbarians in an invasion, they have settled and became civilized, renaming New Canada into Aquanacus, a nation with a possibly advanced navy.

Next was New Canada's neighbor, who's leader have been absent ever since the beginning. There was a revolt of some kind, and new leadership was brought into the renamed nation of Sai Estrana. Also in changed leadership was Neifelheim, where the leader was just as absent. Change was brought into the renamed nation of Teardrop as they established a new capital close to the North-Western Maedor Mountains.

Desierto shuts off

The colony of Desierto has shut its self off from the rest of the world except to her home nation of Forienso. High Govener Escobar stated today "We are shutting ourselves out for the better of our people. With the recent influx of travel due to the nation being handed over to Forienso."

Sutaimia is finally established!

After months of talks between the dying government of the Tremare Empire and the Sutaimites, a new government was established. The leader of the peace talks, King Elvani, built his castle in a hidden location in the far south of the country. Newly appointed Prime Minister Trealor Matik builds the new city of Sutaim and gives permission to the Tremare/Sutaim warrior monks to build the monestary of Sootim, the ancient religion of the area.

However, strict rules are enforced in the lower portions of the country. If visiting the south country, one must visit the monestary and par tribute fees of 5 Gil or one would be brought to the High Courts of Sutaim in the capital city where the convicted will be forced to pay 50 Gil to the monks, up to 1150 Gil in restitution, and the 5 Gil tribute. If not paid within twenty days, one would be placed in the jails of Entremont for a maximum of one year and expelled from the country for a minimum of three months. Sutaimia and Aquanacus have join in an alliance. Reports state that crowds cheered in all 3 major cities of Sutaimia as the monks to the south prayed that it would benefit both nations.

In other news;
Karlin may change to be a facist government. Sutaimian officials keep lips sealed on whether or not they seal their borders to the Karlin population.

Sutaimian military give limited information to us to report that border patrols have been placed around all land borders of Sutaimia.

I had a ton of free time today so, inbetween playing chess and watching movies, i researched some more and finished the ballistic missiles ahead of schedule. Yahoo!!!

For other references-my subs have surface to air missiles and Torpedoes, making them a powerful platform for blowing things up. however, when submerged, they cannot use surface to air missiles, only attempt to hide. also have fairly weak structural integrity.

ED. ignore previous paragraph. all we have are little mine things that we release out the side, that float up and blow holes in the bottom of ships. torpedoes come later. REAL later.
