i used Zidane lv 63, Garnet lv 61, Vivi lv 61, Eiko lv 53

Do the quality of their levels increase again at the higher stages? If I remember correctly their stats all leveled off around level 60 and didn't rise much. I always wondered if there was a break and then later on the stats improved again.

i don't get what you mean..but it's really hard to level up the players after level 70..

Here's an example of what I'm wondering about. in the 50 levels, Steiner was earning 100 HP per level or so, but then when he hit level 63 (for example), he only gained 10 hit points her level. I noticed that after level 60 somewhere that all of the characters stats level off and don't increase much. So I was wondering if they ever pick back up again, i.e Steiner starts getting 100 hit points per level again at level 80.

yeah,i haven't noticed this,you're right..but indeed they level up so slowly after level60..you must do a ton of battles if you want to make them really very good.

Euhm let me think, I think Zidane was the highest with level 52. The rest was down in the 40. I even think Eiko was 39. But I could be wrong about that. I know the rest was around 45.

the first time I beat the game zidane was around 36 and all the other characters where around if not that level aswell, I didnt find myself being forced to lvl to move on very much at all.

I can't remember my levels exactly, but they were low sixties/high fifties. I used Zidane, Garnet, Vivi and Freya. Afterwards I leveled them up heaps though. Can you go past level 99??? coz that's what I am now. They keep getting EXP, but they don't get a higher level....I'm confused...

anyone else use amarant? he was the best when he's tranced.

had him, vivi, eiko, and zidane.

with eiko's holy, vivi's flare (didnt feel like outfitting everyone for shadow protection for doomsday), and amarant's chakra, revive, and aura, it was almost simple. zidane just kinda stood there and threw PD's and such.

everyone was in their mid 70's.

It took me like half a year just to get them all to 80. I couldn't loose because everytime Kuja or the final boss, whoose name I can't remember, hit me I would just use Doomsday and heal my entire party. :) :). That and I had all the status aliment cancelers on :) :)

I like this game (didn't like 1 or 10, have not played 3-8, or 11, love 2 and X-2) but I don't think I'll play it again. (Next on my list is FF Anthology.)

I think they were originally all the same level and then I started running into monsters with lvl 5 doom. that sucked so I killed steiner off so I could get past them.

If I recall, the entire last dungeon starting from going into the little pulsating hole thing to the end of the ending took. . . less than five hours. with IRC breaks in between. not very long at all. (good thing too, because it was 4:30 by then and I wanted that game over with)

Spent a long , long period of time levelling up and acquiring new skills/equipment before making my third and successful attempt.Though I could probably have won the game in my late sixties I decided to keep going , finishing off allthe subquests and chocographs,basically playingthe game inside out till I got bored and headed off to Crystal World for the final showdown ...

And I don't know why all you people are using Amarant and Quina and Eiko. I found them to be very inferior. (Just my opinion, please don't kill me about it.)
