Mulan and other worlds are in KH2

I was watching X-Play on G4techtv and it has confirmed Mulan is a new world that is all I would like to point out and two other things actually I would like to state again that Beauty and the Beast is in KH2 and that this thread will be for confirming other Disney worlds in KH2.

I'm glad to see some old levels returning (Agrabah and Hallow Bastion specifically), but I'm psyched about some new ones like the castle in Beauty and the Beast.

I'm interested in seeing how they work Mulan into the game. I'm sure it'll be a lot like Deep Jungle, which I didn't particularly like. But hey, katanas are cool with me.

I'd love it if they brought Halloween Town back, but there's not bad-guy now that Oogie Boogie is gone.

The first post said that they had seen it on an episode of X-Play, so I figured that I had seen the same episode :D . I thought you meant that the actual world would be like Tarzan's (like all junglish), but yes, it would seem as though the plotline could be similiar to Tarzan's world.

On cable it is channel 69 and it is mostly video games (some aren't like Robot Wars and Unscrewed with Martin Sargent) I really like it shows like Cheat! (show that gives cheats and tells us secrets), Pulse (game news) and lots of cool game stuff and at midnight is Anime Unleashed (obiviously an anime show). Don't know about satelite and stuff sorry and it has a website new episodes 10pm-midnight. Abrojtm I saw the Mulan world in a more of a Chinese village (maybe the snowy mountains is a event or place you run to) and Hallow Bastion was a world that was made up by Disney and Square for KH.

The Olympis Coliseum is returning as a world like the others not just for tournments but like Hollow Bastion and all and Auron does the same thing Cloud does make a deal with Hades and come back to the light and all very original Square and a cool new feature Sora can now absorb one of his teammates and aquire their moves and I think an extra keyblade for double keyblade action and two attack buttons and the camera is manuvered with the right analog sick unforunatly this is bad for me I don't want that I want to move with the left stick and if need be move the battle menu with the right oh well. Chibi X-Play also comes on weekdays 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday 12:00 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. maybe you could watch it more often than usual.

I think some or most of the FF characters from Kingdom Hearts will be appearing in Kingdom Hearts too. I remember hearing that a significant part of the plot was that nobody remembered him.

You don't have to apologize Chibi it's perfectly alright I was just wondering no one has ever asked me that on a forum before that's all :) . Well another way to find G4 just go to your TV Guide Channel (if you have one) and look at the channels until it says G4 techtv and there you go but it doesn't all the time for me it didn't show the G4 line up until just recently I don't know if the same thing goes for you if it doesn't have it.

Also you can talk about suff in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories here as well (unless they have a thread for it I didn't notice) so I've seen Wonderland come back and Simba is in there too I don't know if it's a world a summon like in KH1.

Speaking of COM Atlantica (Little Mermaid) returns but you have feet instead of fins (what up with that?) and I think I saw the Olympus Colisuem as well. Does anyone know thw plot of COM? All I know is that it takes place between KH1 and KH2 but does anyone know what exactly is happening I think that Sora has to return to the other worlds and escort the Princesses of Heart to thier worlds (don't know how that leads to Atlantica but that is what I think. Also they say they're gonna make a way to link KH:COM with KH2 this involves Cloud somehow how does this work will a special link cable come with KH2 or does it have to be bought or something if anyone has any info please respond.



Also about KH2 there is a rumor I doubt it's true but I should mention it well there is a rumor of a Tron world being in KH2. If it is true wouldn't Sora look cool all Tron-ish? Also a bit off topic KH2 will have FFX-esque maps in it so you can't get lost. Also you can center the camera by pressing R3 (push in the right ananlog stick) and the camera now the in-battle view shifts subtly as you kill foes, giving a clearer view of the action. Also the name of the teammate fusing technique Sora uses in KH2 is called Drive Transformationand when he uses Drive his costume is changed, slightly.

Once you defeat Vixen at floor 11 after Twilight Town, Axel kills Vixen. This could explain why there are only 5 members of the "Organization" (unknowns) in Hollow Bastion which we've seen in Kingdom Hearts 2 trailers.

In the game, you fight Ansem (who is not part of Riku's conscious). In the game, you will see Riku and Ansem talking and you see a flash from Ansem and it shows him gaining his red enigma clothing, which is probably done so people do not know it is him, but it can be seen that Riku and Ansem are sided together.

The new character, "Namine" is trying to replace Kairi in Sora's memories so Sora forgets his promise made with Kairi. If Sora does forget his promises, he cannot continue forward in his journey, which is exactly what the Organization wants. Namine also knows a lot about Castle Oblivion, since she shows Sora to the room seen in his ending.

There are two Riku's in Chain of Memories. One Riku is the one who says things like "I won't let you get close to Namine!", while the other is the real Riku. It is not known who the other Riku is but it is known that you have to fight him numerous times in "Reverse Rebirth" mode.

While there are 2 Riku's, there are possibly 2 Namine's from what was able to be gathered.

The last boss in the game is Marlusha which is the leader of the Organization. When fighting him in his first form, you can hear background music of "Deep Dive" playing. In the 2nd form, he battles you while riding on a white creature-robot, similar to that of one seen in the KH2 trailers.

The ending of the game features Sora talking to Namine, and Sora walks into a room with a 'huge flower thing' in the middle of it. As Sora walks up onto it, his Oathkeeper Keychain starts to glow. The "petals" of the "flower" wrap up around Sora, at which point he closes his eyes and enters into a trance. Light begins surrounding him, and this is the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 2. This is part in KH2 trailers when you see Sora in his old clothes.

The red haired unknown is called Axel. Your thinking about the red bandaged unknown who has been nicknamed the crimson unknown. I don't think its ansems son either. Its more likely to be Ansem himself (At least that whats been guessed by most sites).

i read on kingdomhearts2.net sumwere that RCU is a clone of ansem and used to throw Sora and the group off...but the RCU in the KH2 trailer is indeed Ansem...how i noe that is in COM, the journal entry for the RCU (remember the biographies?) said his/her name is DES. That person was created to throw Riku and Sora (and us perhaps) off

I'd like to clear out a few things. I have been playing KH: Chain of Memories, and here's what I've understood about the game (I can't read Japanese so I can't follow the story too well, though):

*KH, KH COM AND POSSIBLE KH2 SPOILERS!*


As far as I've understood, the worlds and Disney villains are NOT back. Instead, Sora walks through various floors in a dark castle that has something to do with memories. Every time Sora goes up one floor, he'll have a memory sequence where you revisit the events that happened in KH. The perspective and some minor details are slightly different, for example I went to Agrabah before Wonderland, Alice doesn't get kidnapped by the Heartless, Cloud will join your party after the Coliseum (as a summon, I guess, since he's not in the same card list as Donald and Goofy, but he's on the same list with Simba, Genie and Dumbo), Pinocchio is trapped in Monstro along with Geppetto etc, but the same events from KH will still happen. I'll play the game some more, but I've read somewhere that the leader of the Unknown will be revealed in KH: CoM. If the Red-Caped Man is indeed the leader of the Unknown, his identity will be told to me by the time I've beat the game.

i hate thatthe fact that so many rumours have been speading around that are obviously not true. u cant get sephi in KH1. im also annoyed by the fact that so many people have been saying that RCU is Ansem. kingdomhearts2.net have confirmed that RCU is named 'Dis'. It is not confirmed that Dis is working for the Order. so far, he has only appeared to help Riku and guide him through the basements of the Oblivion CAstle.

Here is some added info from the site:

- The reason Namine is seemingly working for The Order is because of possibly the leader of The Order, Marlusha has forced her into it. Namine is the one who is directly trying to get Sora to forget about Kairi and his past memories which are The Order's motives.

- Dis [the person who disguises himself as Ansem] is the red cloaked man who guides Riku through Castle Oblivion when you play Reverse Rebirth mode. In the end, this Dis character also leads Riku into choosing the path he wishes to take at the crossroads. It seems that Dis is actually just Ansem's silhouette.

- The real Ansem appears when Lexus dies at the final battle of Reverse Rebirth.

- As we've seen in the KH2 trailers, Dis is seen speaking with an unknown and it could be that the Unknown Dis is speaking to is betraying The Order.

- Some people have gotten Riku's role in Chain of Memories a tadbit confused. Riku is not in any way or shape or form working for The Order in Reverse Rebirth mode. Like Sora, Riku is completely against them. In similarity, Dis (the name of the red bandaged person that we see) has not showed any sign of working with The Order either, but it can't be ruled out that he is not.

Parts about where Ansem and Dis fit in into all of this are still kind of cloudy.

The cause of a world's wall collapsing is the appearence of the Heartless, but finding a world's door takes time and robbing a world of it's heart is a similar case.

If the door has been closed by the key known as the Keyblade appears in this world. I must take measures to do something.

Supposing that there is a close realtionship between the Princessess and the Keyblade, it seems likely that they will resonate with each other... I have chosen one special girl. I do not know if she possesses a power like the princesses. But there is a chance, and this is an experiment. She may lead me to the one holding the key...

I shall send her off off to the ocean of other worlds.

( I bet this "girl" is Kairi!)

Ansem Report XII

I have transcended to an existence of only the heart. I should have come back as a Heartless but there is no sign of such transformation.

My body has surely perished. However, I am different from the other Heartless, keeping the memories of before, and I have not taken on the form of a Heartless. It is clear that there are still many things to be studied.

In order to cross over to the dark side (Sora I am your father! :tongue: ), which is not this world, you must go beyond the door of Kingdom Hearts, the place connected to the world's heart.

The innermost part connected to the world's heart, the place connecting to the world of darkness. (I will record the details in another report) There are still so many unknown worlds.

The present world.
The world of darkness.
The world of light.
And, the world in-between.

Where does the true paradise lie, I wonder?

When the heart casts off the flesh, where does the body go?

Heart and soul are seperate, and the soul remains in the body. But can we assume that the leftover body and soul perish? (Sephiroth.: I think the body perishes and the soul becomes the Heartless since the heart and soul are seperate then the soul becomes a Heartless ands the heart returns to wherever it came from henceforce the name Heartless)

Certainly when the heart changes into a Heartless the body disappears. (Sephiroth.: is he right or am I right? hmmmmm.)

However, that is only this world's story; in another world, mightn't they change forms like the Heartless that exist here?

If we take that to be the case, there must be a "you" other than yourself existing elsewhere (Sephiroth.:could Sora's other him be the blonde haired kid and maybe the Red Enigma or the Unknown or something could be the other Ansem!) .

An existence neither of darkness nor of light. An in-between. Cast off by the heart, a mere shell, one who berudges both the darkness and the light.

This mystery cannot be easily resolved. The realtionship between the heart and the fresh is a complex one. But since we exist here, they cannot be termed as existent. Therefore I shall call them...


"The non-existent ones."


Sephiroth.: Maybe the white creatures or the "Dusk" I believe they're called are, the in a sense, the Heartless of the light side wht you fight I don't know maybe our questions and speculations will be answered soon enough.....
I have this thing you see in the End of the World level that it appears to be an announcement of the Heartless and their goal. Who wrote it? That's a mystery. What does it mean? Who knows? I'm trying to figure it out now. Here's the tale:

Heartless Creed

You use cards to attack, summon, cast spells, or use allies, like Kingdom Key, Fire, Simba, or Goofy and there is power-up cards like Shadow that boost your weapons level by 1. The card's level is whether or not it's strong enough to break your enemies cards if used at the same times. Card breaks are if you or your enemy use a card at the same time the higher card wins if you use a level 8 card and your enemy uses a level 4 card you break his card leaving him wide open and you attack, if you use a level 3 card and your enemy uses a level 7 card you get broken and are left wide open. the cards range from 0 to 9 if you get a zero it can break anything as long as you use it a bit after your enemy uses his card.

Wow, this thread has gone entirely off-topic. But to answer your question anyway, the GBA KH game is not a GBA version of KH2. It is it's own game and it uses cards. KH2, however, does not.

Seriously though- you don't think with the awesome CG capabilities of KH graphics, they couldn't do wrinkles? lol. Of course they could. Look at Kairi's grandma in Hollow Bastion. She's wrinkled enough. Geppetto's really old with wrinkles around his eyes. So is King Triton. They can do lots of stuff with KH graphics, dude.

It's just- notice how they made Tidus and Wakka younger? And how they made Squall older- like 25- when Selphie's only like 13? Not to mention the fact that Nomura combined Cloud and Vincent into one design. Nomura is just putting twists to his old classic FF character designs. They don't have to be chronologically accurate at all. Kingdom Hearts is a seperate story all in itself from anything in either the FF or Disney universes.

Also theres this world said to be in KH2 called "Deep Dive" which is in a video at the end of KH: Final Mix and affects KH2 immensely. How? Not sure. Yet... We do know that within this world has 5 members of the Organization. Also we've seen the Blonde Haired kid, (which I would like to say again according to Ansem Report XII or XIII (its been awhile okay :p) there is another you out in the world somewhere and others mistake this kid for Sora don't they? (at least thats what I heard) and I've seen him with friends like Kairi and Riku in split-second glances in a trailer and its said he has two Disney characters of his own and he has his own Keyblade so I very well believe this kid is Sora's "other" and maybe the kids Disney pals could be Donald's and Goofy's "other") is fighting a group of Neo Heartless here in addition to Riku and King Mickey assisting. Those 3 are in Deep Dive searching for Sora or await his arrival. Following on, the other two memebers of the Organization on the beach saying that one of them looks like someone else I assume this is Sora. Also we know Sora is in Deep Dive because he's seen on the same beach as those 2 members of the Organization. Also Destiny Island is to be in KH2 (I don't know if it was said in this thread earlier I forget :P) I believe you can go to the other islands where there are houses because you can see Kairi by houses and you could travel there maybe...Also Halloween Town is returning if that wasn't said before too :p

Also the voice actors for the characters. I most of these are already known probably but just so you know that nad that the originals are still doing their part.

Bad things are afoot...there saying no KH2 till 2006. In an interview with Yoichi Wada on Square's plans for 2005/2006 it lead to the discussion of the timeframe KH2 will be released in. He was vague on comments on the exact releases of FFXII and KH2 but he said that they're Japanese translations are to be released this year and into the next so translating it ot English will be longer and longer of the UK sorry guys.
