What exactly is this?

Is it an attack you get when you enter a battle with 7777HP?

Someone explain!

When you have 7777 hit points every attack that you do does 7777 damage. And it's based on your current hit points, not your max hit points. So if your current hit points are 7777 / 7777 or 7777 / 8234 you will do 7777 damage, but if your current hit points are 6475 / 7777 you won't do 7777 damage.

Easy to get or hard...I bet it can be worked out so you can manipulate it quite easily...

Yeah, there are ways with the materia to manipulate your hit points so that they are always at 7777 when full. I'm sure if you really want to know you can find a guide or tips out at www.gamefaqs.com.

ya lucky 7s is just as it says LUCK it is quite a cool thing except that after it your character that had its hp goes to one
but 7777*100some should kill everything but weapons they are beefy mothers (easy if u know what to do)

I only know one way to manipulate Lucky Sevens:

Get Barret to level 70 and equip him with Missing Score and Wizard Bracelet. Equip to him these materia:
- 5 HP plus (1 star)
- Phoenix (2 stars)
- Time (2 Stars)
- Barrier (3 stars)
- Full Cure (forgets how many stars)

actually you continuosly attack, i dont really know how many times you attack, but it happened to me when i fought emerald weapon :) and it killed him :choc:

You'll attack 64 times for 7777 damage (497,728 damage). That kills everything instantly except Emerald and Ruby Weapons, and Bizarro/Safer Sephiroth on level 99 might also survive it. Emerald's Aire Tam Storm does damage based on the number of materias you have equipped, so a very neat trick is to equip only 2 materias on someone and make sure s/he has 9999 max HP. Then cast KotR and mime it a few times, and when Emerald Weapon does Aire Tam storm (hopefully he'll miss with Revenge Stamp before that - Mystile helps with evading RS, though), your HP will be at 9999 - 2222 = 7777 HP. And if you've W-Summoned 2-3 Knights, that lucky 7 attack should finish off Emerald. :p
