I was first introduced to bit torrents aboot a month ago and I must say, that they kick the arse of any file sharing program out there.
Anyways, what ones does everyone use and your thoughts on the concept?

I use Azureus. The cool thing about BitTorrent is that it can't be shut down since there's no medium for downloading. It's all done through the user to user. I like it.

The client I use is ABC. I like it 'cos you can queue your downloads, set upload caps that don't affect your download speed, and set it to automatically stop uploading after a certain amount of time. Very nice.
Most of the stuff I get is from suprnova.org, boxtorrents.com, and animesuki.com. Box Torrents is the best place to get complete anime and manga series because they have rating systems and such. You have to be a member there, but it's worth it.

I use ABC.
The only contenders in this game are, of course, ABC and Azureus. They're the only standalone BT clients that utilize a queue system. Azureus is awesome because you can use it to download specific files from the torrent, but it's nowhere near as lightweight as ABC. The new beta of Az even lets you set upload limits for individual torrents, a feature previously exclusive to ABC. BUT, the bottom line is it uses http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gifing Java and it slows the crap out of my machine. Your mileage may vary, of course.
As for trackers...eh, well y'know.

Box Torrents has not been the same since ADV screwed them up. They are getting back to normal but now if I want a series ADV has then I get to go hunting and I get DVD rips just because they are dicks about fansubs.

ABC and Azureus and G3 are good clients, but I like good ol' bittornado myself. Of course this is because I actually PROVIDE torrents and ABC hasn't updated itself with a super-seed option as far as I know :D
