Shinra obviously has a very strict hierarchy!
Any thoughts you'd like to share concerning Shinra?
Shoot, any theory of the company's hierarchy?

Go on--post!!

Haha, Shinra Electric Power Company. That's great. "Shinra Electric Power Company, Lighting Your Way with Mako for 100 Years."

There was this thinly veiled denial that they were what they were. Like they had come to this position slowly, wittling away at Midgar's freedoms until they owned the place. The Turks' official name was some euphemism which eludes me at the moment, and Mayor Domino, though a puppet, was still technically the leader of Midgar.

FFX Gos To FFX-2 & FFX-2 Gos To FFVII

When it's said FFIX that Garland had previously attempted world conquest but had been stopped, that doesn't mean that he's somehow the same Garland from FFI, who was stopped from world conquest by the Light Warriors. It's just a clever reference. The case is the same with FFX-2 and FFVII; there's no real connection.

Ouch!

They all have bags under their eyes, they could use some sleep. I guess running (and in case of the Turks serving) and evil company bent on world control takes a lot out of you.

How come Rude, Reno and Elena aren't listed below Tseng? I always thought he was in charge of the rest of the Turks.

Seeing Hojo's picture, I can finally see his resemblance to Sephiroth. It wasn't particularly obvious when I saw him in the game.

odd, I thought Reeve was under Hieggar (or however he damn spells it) Tsung was under him and the turks Reno, Elena, rude served under Tsung. Funny world that...

When you visit Gongaga, Scarlet pokes fun at an absent Heideggar in front of Tseng, only to sarcastically apologise and say, "He's your boss." As the Head of Peace Preservation, it makes sense that Heidegger had total control over the Turks, SOLDIER and the Shinra Army.

Call you're freinds! Call you're Familly! Hell...Even call you're enemys and then run round to doors telling people you don't even know!!!

KISHI IS WRONG AT LAST!!! http://67.18.37.14/10/1/emo/03hams4.GIF

Final Fantasy games do have there conections! There for it IS Shinra (Or a realtion of him) and it IS Garland (No relation it HIM) I say so and more importantly SQAURE have said that FF games ARE true squealls just far appart from each other (X X2 were only afew years) But some are done out e.g. 6 and 8 where over a milenium (sp) apart! Again SQUARE said this on TV 2 years ago.

So there ends the stupid remarks of there being no story.

No, you're wrong. Every crackpot theory is appended with an "omg this is straight from square so it must be true!!!"

Yes, it would be difficult for them to be strung together in any meaninful way- I mean, through the series we've seen madmen inflict great wounds upon the earth, magic litterally be removed from the world in the end (FFVI), and other less significant events that don't exactly carry well.

Not to mention that the wildly different continents from one FF to the next would, assuming earth norms of drift, put the FF timeline on a scale unknown to this planet. (That said, FF's penchant for cataclysms (again FFVI comes to mind) would sort of change the equation)
