Out of interest how do you get that to work, I could never do it for my own personal site?

d'accord, that lame tick corrupts our youth and turns attractive women homosexual.

So put it there, clout. :p

For me EoFF's icon is an eggplant. ASC is a potato, The Basement is a leek, AO is a raddish, and FG is a turnip. :fplusty:

AO is a raddish

Criminy, you still go there?

I seldom bother showing up there.

I didn't say I went there, I just said it's a raddish. I pop in occasionally 'cause one of my friends from Jr. High makes fairly regular gallery submissions.

Put this in the <head> of your html pages:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

There is also a way to send it in the http headers for a page...but I can't find the reference for that at the moment.

EDIT: It turns out that a lot of large sites such as slashdot are just linking to the favicon.ico with the above html tag, so I'm sure that way works as well as any.

You do know that it's become a haven for miscreants and communists, right?

Name one place you have frequented that hasn't. Seeing a trend? I thought so.

It's definitely there, clout. And keep in mind that if anyone is able to fix this, it's you, so quit yappin' and get crackin'!

I don't have the vB tick, I just have the boring old IE icon.

The Vesper Network
Shinra Online
Psychotic Intent
Velvet Underground
<s>Eyes On Final Fantasy</s>

Funny thing is, most of the places I've been to that degenerate into crap do so <i>after</i> I leave. Only a few exceptions.

How would you know if you've left?

Every forum has at least a few cool people, otherwise I'd never have signed up in the first place. I keep in touch with those people (as much as I ever keep in touch with anybody, anyways)

That, and going back to lurk and deciding not to stay.

Say, how often do you get those really abusive callers? We had one of those at the helpdesk for one of the contracts I work on the other day. Swearing left right and center and so on.

Not often enough, those calls are funny as hell
