Ok, you can make a party of eight persons of every FF-game. And who will be in your battleparty and why do you choose those eight??

1. Red Mage from FF1
Why?: I think it's a good combination between Magic and Fighting. And although some say that he looses his powers after the second part, I don't think so.

2. Mog from FF6
Why?: Like I said , I really like moogles, plus his dancingskill is really cool

3. Red XIII from FF7
Why?: We all know him, he is cool isn't he??

4. Quina from FF9
Why?: Although I first tought he was useless, he really is a helpfull chap with his Blue Magic

5. Vivi from FF 9
Why?: I think Vivi is the best Black Mage in all the FF-series

6. Yuffie from FF7
Why?: Yuffie is a good character, if you can level her up correctly, you can use her very good to beat the last boss

7. Morpher from FFTA
Why?: He has some nifty attacks and a very cool outfit. Besides also can be very strong if you combine him with a Sage or a Alchemist.

8.Kain from FFIV
Why?: I thought a long time about it, but Kain is acctualy one of the more "complex" characters in the FF-series and also one of the first Dragoons. And he looks cool.

Time to play with the big guys.
Squall is an unusual strong person whose amazing fighting skills are only being held back by his lack of humanity.
Squall has one of the strongest limit breaks in any Final Fantasy game.

Cloud is a very dedicated person, a person whose devotion is only perceived by his sorted past.

A girl with a passion.
A girl who always manages to create a situation where she doesn't have the control.
Despite of her faults, Reina is one of my favorite characters ever.

Front Liners:

Cloud, FFVII - Strong, fast, and carries an array of cool swords. And OmniSlash. Can't forget the OmniSlash.

Cecil, FFIV - Dark knight turned paladin. He can heal in a pinch, and when someone else's HP gets low, he covers for them. Count me in!

Umaro, FFVI - Because, sometimes, you just need a yeti to tear someone's arms off their body. And leap across to the other side of a two pronged attack to throw a child at your enemy.

Back Row:

Terra, FFVI - Half-esper magical powerhouse. Not to mention she can still fight hand to hand well enough! As a bonus, Terra and Cloud can sit around not remembering who they are together.

FoSoYa, FFIV - He knows all black and white magic. I'm not sure why I would have to justify this choice beyond that, other than saying he's got one of those stereotypical wizard beards.

Aeris, FFVII - Was a toss up between her and Rosa, but I'm giving IV and VI too much attention. Load her up with healy materia. Figure in her limit breaks, and she's as good as a straight white mage.

Rounding Out the Party:

Yuffie, FFVII - Need a thief, and Yuffie fits the bill. Not to mention her great array of odd weapons.

Cid, FFIV OR FFVII - I just can't decide. Dead heat here. Personality wise, they both make me laugh and are fun to have in the party. VII's is a better fighter, but IV's is more than likely a better engineer. Either one's a winner really- airship specialist- check.

wakka - he was the only character i bothered to level up fully in x and damn, was he powerful!

yuna (x-2 warrior) - powerful and very sexy - something for the guys!

zell - love that lightning tatoo! and the whole kickboxing thing is pretty cool too

lulu - put a little black magic into the mix

rinoa - for healing and angelo limit breaks

auron - because people fight better when they're drunk! or maybe they just fight more...

1. Gus (FFII) - I don't know how anybody else played this, but he was an indestructible, club swinging, flare casting, Genji Armor Wearing Killing Machine (biological machine). So he'll be my lead man.

2. Ninja (FF1) - Only part killing machine, but this dude can run from just about anything better than just about anybody else. And he can carry a Katana. And he can cast black magic when the need arises. Not too shabby.

3. Gau (FFVI) - Style. (Plus, he can add anything to the party that I feel like with his enormous array of skills. From super strong physical attacks [like that cat attack] to Meteor and Life magics)

4. Faris (FFV) - Not that it matters who I choose. PErsonally, I think that Faris is quite hip. Better for making babies than Reina for sure. But, basically, she's an all purpose. She can do anything. Who wouldn't want an FFV in their party.

5. Rydia (FFIV) - Of course Rydia. With ultimate black magic, a pet Bahamut at her fingers, and stylish clothing, this witchy woman the greenest haired Light Warrior in all of FFIV.

Alas, my experience with Final Fnatasy stops here.

But I thinkin' that my last 3 would be something like Cloud, Zell, and Cidolfas Orlandu.

(Cidolfas Orlandu was played against me in a 1 v. 1 RP. I was Frog from CT, and I lost despite my most outstanding efforts. So he's gotta be a hot shot.)

1)CYAN, unstoppable with Gem box, CAST Quick, then osmose(or whatever steals MP), attack two times with quad slice no interruptions, then cast again... unstoppable in FFVI
2)Squall, Lionheart, amazing, and GFs
3)Cloud, omnislash, and materia magic, wow
4)Steiner, great moves with one mage I list
5)Zell, best hand to hand, magic too
6)Sabin, just cause he is Sabin, and bum rush rocks... magic too

Magic
1)VIVI, best black mage, plus magic sword with Steiner
2)Rydia, best all around mage.

That's my input, and for all those who don't like the cyan trick cause of the genji-glove offering trick, he can be a much lower level and do the 9999 max that the attacks can do, so I choose Cyan, I actually beat the Final Boss, all forms, without getting hit!

I'll try to cover as many Final Fantasies as I can. I haven't played them all as I'm sure will show.

FFI: Black Mage. Something about weaving occult magics to bring about terrible chaos and destruction appeals to me.
FFIV: Kain. A powerful dragoon that can certainly "come down hard" upon his foes and deal great damage, plus a good frontline fighter.
FFVI: Terra. Whether it be through magic or muscle, Terra's abilities are outstanding, and her Morph makes her nigh unstoppable.
FFVII: Cloud. As much as I hate to be cliche, Cloud's Omnislash abilities and fairly balanced stats make him quite the asset to the team.
FFVIII: Squall. Again, I hate to be cliche but the Lionheart ability is simply too powerful to ignore.
FFIX: Garnet. A summoner who can wield White Magic with great proficiency, an asset to any team.
FFX: Wakka. Thanks to the Sphere Grid, every character can be equally strong in all statistics and know all spells. Combine this with his Attack Reels, and you have an unstoppable foe.
FFT: Orlandu. The Holy Swordsman can break equipment, drain HP, drain MP, and obliterate his enemies. Give him some summon magic for an additional wide area of effect, and you have an unstoppable foe.

I haven't played enough of 1-6 beside the exception of 5

1. Vivi- This little punk is the coolest character to me!
2. Nanaki- It Stardust Ray attack is really good.
3. Cloud- His stats are all balanced plus Omnislash.
4. Squall- He is pretty strong.
6. Orlandu- Good offense and defense by using abilities to heal himself and hurt his opponent.
7. Garnet- Coolest Summoner to me! (Plus has the strongest Edioleon Ark!)
8. Finally... Auron- He rocks and he has a limitless drinking bottle on his hip, Plus start out warrior stats.

Frontz0rs: Guy, Galuf, Squall-- especially when galuf is in my favorite job class for him (Honestly, I think of him as a monk all the time-- his bare clothes aren't familiar to me because I use him as a monk so often) these guys are all good attackers/defence. Plus Guy knows ultima:D and some other useful stuff that I don't really use because i have to attack since he is statusproof and maria quit hitting for damage at all stupid cane user. (no krile/cara for me. galuf all the way baby) Renzokuken should be a given. Plus the bonus from pulling the gunblade trigger

Middle: Amarant, Rinoa, Shadow-- That way they don't have to take the brunt of the force, and their physical attacks are still worth something. Shadow has interceptor, amarant has CHAKRA and all those auto life stuffs:D aura or something. I always liked having him^_^ (chakra all is just too friggin' awesome) And rinoa is the strongest one in my ff8 party (255 str with like. . . esuna junctioned? squall has flare and only has 254:P)

Back: Yuna, Rikku. Because honestly. They don't need to be in the front. There's no reason for it. They can hit just as well from the back after the sphere grid is customized and strength is maxed:) Plus rikku's mix is divine (light curtainsx2 are my current favorite:D) and yuna has summons. That's an extra ten party members, in eight different parties:D and they both have white magic and most other abilities basically mastered. And they know enough black magic that I dont' need a real black mage. because I never really liked them too much (except for galuf. he was an awesome black mage ;_;)

1: Cid from ff7, because he'd be an absolute blast at a party period
2: Quistis from ff8. Well she does have a whip... :love:
3: Kane from ff4, to be the 'cool' kid
4: Faris from ff5, because pirates rule!
5: Layla from ff2, because pirates rule twicemore!
6: Edgar from ff6, because every party needs a womanizer
7: Bahamut. I mean, how nifty would it be to have a dragon at your party?
8: The entire island of Besaid, to make up the numbers

Why?-Who knows more about airships than him?

Why?-Her upbeat attitude keeps the team going in their darkest hour. Her agility's decent, too.

Why?-Because her black magic is devastating.

Alright here is my Crew.

Quina (gotta love blue magic and then 9999 frog drop whenever you want)
Garnet(God summons rule and her white magic just helps everytime)
Black mage/Vivi(Their spells flat out rule and BM is the best old character) They are interchangable.
Lulu(Black and White magic what can i say)
Steiner(Excalibur 2 rules and he can use his sword magics with Black mage same as with Vivi i would assume)
Cloud (Gawd when i need physical damage done I just can't replace a nice OMNISLASH)
Cecil (FFII paladin form. Just shouting out to the old games.)
Sabin (Bum rush or just mantra to keep everyone's HP full either way he is a Stud to have in a party)

Back row (Quina,Garnet,Vivi/BM,Lulu)
Front row (Steiner,Cloud,Cecil,Sabin)

I am a traditionalist so i will only use front and back rows.

Only 8? Crap.

1. Cloud Strife- Because he's quite strong, a great leader, and one of the coolest characters ever.
2. Quina- His/her/its blue magic kicks ass, and he's not to bad of a fighter when you first get him.
3. Lulu- Her magic is very strong and she is extremely hot.
4. Auron- Because of his incredible strength and coolness.
5. Vincent Valentine- Because he is an awesome shooter, and the all around coolest character ever.
6. Shadow- Extremely cool, he can throw weapons, he has Interceptor, and he's a decent fighter.
7. Yuffie- She can throw items and is a decent fighter.
8. FFVI Biggs- Thats right. I bet you didn't expect that, did ya? I believe that if this character hadn't been in the Magitek armor, he'd be as strong as Auron or Orlandu. And since theres no way of knowing, no one can say I'm wrong! :p I'm kidding. But seriously, I really liked this guy. I have no idea why.

Other characters I would have chosen: Sephiroth, Orlandu, Kuja, Quistis, Umaro, and Edward(Don't ask.) There are probably more, but I can't think of them.

Let me see....

Cloud Strife (FFVII). I can do anything with the right materia. Really. And Omnislash is, well, cool. As a character, Cloud was extremely complex and well designed.

Aeris Gainsborough (FFVII). Great Gospel? That's some nice invincibility! Arguably the most tragic figure in the series. Awesome musical theme.

Sephiroth (FFVII). Doesn't need Great Gospel, since he's already invincible in battle (a la Kalm flashback). Besides, who wouldn't love the irony of having Aeris and Seph in the same party?

Squall Leonheart (FFVIII). Renzokuken + Lionheart is always fun. While FFVIII's system isn't quite as limitless as VII's, it offers enough. Again, Squall is an intriguing character that was well designed.

Strongest Shinra (FFX-2 International + Last Mission). The most overpowered concept imaginable.

Kuja (FFIX). I don't care if he was never actually in your party. Villains are cool. Especially villains with a spell that can destroy a planet. Plus, Kuja was a complex, thoroughly developed character.

Cidolfas Orlandu (FFT). What most people think of when they hear "overpowered" and "Final Fantasy". All Swordskill is nice, especially when augmented with Math Skill. Orlandu played an interesting role in an incredible story.

General Leo Cristophe (FFVI). He's just that cool. He also has an Offering and Shock. FFVI characters can learn all magic, anyway. A well thought out tragic figure.


Honorable mentions: Beatrix (FFIX). Her place was taken by Orlandu and Leo. Locke (FFVI). Any character with materia can be a thief. Terra (FFVI). As powerful as she can be, it's not enough here. Rydia (FFIV). As hard as it is to believe, most of the characters are superior magically. Sage (FFIII) See Rydia. Auron (FFX). A hard hitter, but those above hit harder. Yuna (FFX). Powerful summoning, but not enough here. Kefka (FFVI). Goner and Fallen One? Not nearly enough. Zell (FFVIII). The Armageddon Fist trick is always nice, but he just didn't make my cut. Ramza (FFT) Scream would have been nice, but since the characters would be beyond stat-maxed anyway, I really don't care.

sqaull (he'l probably kill tidus for being so cheerfull <--- is that a word?)

sabin (i love blitzes)
edgar (tools baby)

yuna (sphere grid completed so every magic and her own summons
celes (with lots of espers equiped :P and no magic damage when i want it)


well everyone is ofcourse equiped with the best they can have

Vincent=far distance shooting and morph into psycho beast.
Sephiroth= just sooooooooo powerful
terra in magitek armour=great effective magic
Yuna=summoner and white magic user
Seymour=have you tried his overdrive, its cool
Vivi=hes a black magic user who has lots of suprises up his baggy sleeve
Auron= hes the power control freak in the party
Red mage=uses powerful magic and powerful attacks

Reason: Because he has high health, and has overwhelming power. He can also use Power break etc...

Reason: I thinl Vincent is so cool, because he is dark, and has a mystery about him. He has a good ranged attack, and can morph into powerful monsters
