I wanna say 6 months, but someone may wanna double check that too....

Anyhoo, welcome to EoFF...here are 1000 Giga Points, and watch out for Kounetsu. If he gets ahold of you, you'll never be the same again....

I have a month to go yet.

If it was 6 months I would be realy angry at myself for overlooking it xD.

Man, this sucks! I've been coming to this site for 3 years now but my screen name aways gets pruned because I wind up going to basic training, or going overseas to save the world, or something crazy like that. It looks like this one isn't gonna make it either because I'm sceduled to go play in the big sand box again just after Christmas. :(

8 months is an awfully long time...

I've been here for 4, but it seems like I've been here longer.

Why so long? :(

I kinda got one when I joined back in late 2000 :D

I think it said "Newbie" though. And it took me a really long time to get anything else. I posted not a lot then :D

Do you get to choose what it's goin' to say? or do you get one appointed?

TasteyPies

You decide what it says and as long as its witin the normal rules (no flaming, explicit stuff ect.) you are good.

It's nice to see people so excited about getting the custom title. I remember back when I was supposed to get mine and the rules kept changing (1500 posts, then 1500 posts plus six months, then eight months, or something like that.) Really, it's pretty useless once you get it.

Chris
10-21-2004, 12:11 AM
It's some kind of a sick privilege :D

Eh. It's no big deal. I'm in no hurry to get mine. It'll just end up being another display case for my insanity.

My initial custom title was Mr. Encyclopedia. I changed it a few times, but I eventually went back to it, and I'm happy with it.

Welcome, newbie.

My custom title used to be "I am Rikkuyuna89 :)" so no one would ask me if I was or not anymore, but I changed it to "Arrow'd" because of Teen Girl Squad.

chaos: Welcome to EOFF. Yes Custom Titles aren't recieved 'till you've stayed for eight months.

Rubedo: Sadly, when we became Overseers, we got our custom title two months early, as well as the Overseer title. Although, we can't change our custom title, it stays "Eizon Overseer" till November 26th.... :shame:

So, if I wrote "Recognized Member" in my custom title that would be inappropriate?

Silmaril
10-21-2004, 05:11 PM
Honestly, I didn't realize I had the custom title option thingy until now. I rarely go to my User CP and I was like  .

I think I saw something called "User notes" a long time back...I should check that thing out as well.

How embaressing and I don't know why I'm sharing this. *buries face in hands*

Getting a Custom Title is always a big deal, until you actually have it and realise how useless it is. I've had mine for almost three years now, and I can't remember what it was like not having one anymore.

My custom title used to be "I am Rikkuyuna89 :) " so no one would ask me if I was or not
Are you? :D

I wish I had custom titles, but I don't. They seem kinda useless, except you can say "HahahAHAA!!1 I have Cu570M 7t1tl3z!!!!11 and you don't :)".

Can I respectfully request a recognized member title due to my situation. I know this "born on date" says may 04 but surely some of all you fellow old timers remember the undead hero who posted 3 years ago, and then 2 years ago, and then last year. It's all the Army's fault I keep getting pruned. I understand if you say no, blargy trout in stuff!
