Yeah, my friend got one the other day. I read about them about a month ago on a website but didn't realize they were out already until last Friday. They're pretty awesome, though.

Yea, they look cool. If I didn't already have a PS2, I'd get one. I have the PSone, and I like that cute little contraption even though I don't use it at all.

Since my PS2 packed up a year ago, I should be buying one. However, I've decided against it, and am looking forward to the next generation of handhelds instead. :)

I think they announced this new system a while ago...

The system I'm looking forward to checking out is the PS3 (specs will be realeased from Sony by March 31st 2005)

I was waiting for someone to make a thread about this.

My friend found out about this a while ago on the ebgames website. And of course, I didn't believe him. Then I saw it. xD

Anyway, I just pre-ordered it (Had to cancel my Halo 2 pre-order to get it) and I can't wait to get it as I'll be getting the new Slim Line PS2 and San Andreas on the same day. It's like christmas, but earlier. ^_^

The only good thing a ps2 is for is DVD-Player, no Im not going to buy a new one just because it has a new look and does the same job as my old one.

It wasn't banned, it was just discontinued. You can still get it on eBay for far more the original value.
