Celes and The Bride of Kill Bill?

My friend and I are in love with the film Kill Bill and were talking the other day about how Celes from FFVI kind of looks like The Bride from the movie. We don't think that this was on purpose, but it is kind of an odd coincidence that the two have a lot in common besides looks. Their history and personalities also have things in common. Has anyone else noticed this?

Haha, not bad. I think the similarities end there, though. Well, they were both warriors and were used/betrayed by their respective employers. Interesting.

Well, they look indeed similair. To bad she cannot use Magic in the movie. You known something like: "You want to kill me, here have a piece of this" And then she castes Ultima.

or the other way around Celes can only use her sword. That she stands before Kefka, poking her sword in him, and he blows her away with Merton or so. :p

I dont see that they have anything much in common. They're both blonde, they both use swords, and they're both betrayed. Aside from that, The Bride's story is far far different that Celes'. They have different motives and different goals, and very very different personalities.
