hey hey calm down. a simple no would be okay, just asking and yes it is a squarenix game

In the beginning when you go to the battle simulator you have to set the battle trophy system up. If you don't do it there you can't do it the rest of the game. Just be ready cuase it takes 1200 memory.

can i start a new game, start a trophy thing, load my old game and contiue the story from there???

No. The trophy system is capable of being used in multiple playthroughs, but you have to link your savefile with the trophy file in the begining
