Mine is a bit tricky. It's a cross between Seifer/Raijin/Fujin.

Raijin and Fujin because I can relate to them, and Seifer because he would kick Squalls ass if he had a fair battle with him ^^

LOL, not my Squall, my one can take any Seifer in one renzokuken or a couple hits and Seifer takes forever to kill him. I wish they would let you fight Raijin, Fujin and Seifer all together...

It was Squall at the begining of the game, but after he 180 degree personality turn halfway through the game, I just liked Irvine a bunch more. Plus, he has a shotgun. You can't beat a cowboy with a shotgun.

I really liked Quistis. She made a much better team leader than Squall, given that she was actually trained for it. Also, she is very mature, unlike, say, Rinoa.

I really enjoyed watching Laguana be stupid, but I have to go with Squall.

I do give props to Fujin though. She reminds me of when Dave Chapelle paradies Lil' Jon. One word answers with a bit of violence, and then at the very end she makes a long heartfelt diatribe. Good stuff.

I would have to say...ZELL!!!! ^^ I luv him so much. yeah, maybe he's loud but that's one of the reasons that makes me luv him.
Whenever I take a quiz, it's always either him or Selphie. I like her as well. Props for the Selphie fans.
BTW: He has an awsome tatoo.

All the characters in VIII are well developed. Even the characters like Seifer, sneering and bullying, make great villians, the kind you can even feel sorry for.

Probobly Squall, just because he's a really cool Character, and has a lot of development to his Character...
I also like Irvine however, he's funny and also has quite some depth to his Character.
But over-all, Squall wins.

The game should've been based on the Laguna days.

I hate how so many say they relate so much to Squall

I like Squall:) especially how they phrased his thoughts like they could actually be thought by a human being, not all that 'I shall save the world! I shalt! I shalt!' nothing wrong with the world getting saved, but you don't have to be like you live in the twelfth century (although some of these people might have)

I also like Rinoa though. Her design is just awesomecool, and she has the assertiveness that I lack.

I'll agree that zell was majorly annoying though. truly deserving to be chicken wuss:D

But for Male Characters, I choose Squall, even though I hate his attitude.... cool-looking but doesn't know how to express himself sweetly to words. But I like his spirit, fearless, and self-dependent sometimes..... and slowly his character becomes developed throughout the game, realizing that he isn't nice after all.... doesnt want to be alone.... care to his comrades.... Nice, but too bad, we cannot see further than his only smile at the ending movie :D It's a bit um, funny, like seeing someone who just learn how to smile....

I mean...he's cool and i can relate to him, and he has a cool weapon, he acts confident but can be the complete opposite and i love the things he says sometimes. The ones which make Rinoa laugh at him, the others or offend them. An example would be in Zell' home when they enter his bedroom and zell is talking about his granfather.
by the way my brother said (although he probably lying) you can get Laguna to admit to be Squall's father and not just hint at it, can you?
