Trumpet Thief: Lately I've been all riled up about Halloween and Christmas, as they are what I look forward to each year. You could say they are my favorite holidays, Christmas especially, because it's the only time it snows around in Vancouver, which is the area I visit in Winter Break.

Rubedo: So, which Holidays do you love/prefer, and why?

My favorite holiday is Easter. I'm not really sure why.

Christmas has that fuzzy feeling that I get in the month or so before when everybodys in the christmas spirit. Even if it is bloody cold.

St. Patricks day. It's funny seeing everybody wear green and pinch each other. I rarely wear green on the day and when someone says something about it I go "I am too, I have on green underwear!" I dare you to prove it otherwise.

Summer. Because it lasts the longest. Pretty easy, huh?

I know the summer isn't really considered a holiday to the society, but it's certainly a holiday to me ^_________________________________^

For a day maybe and then all you get is slush and more rain...unless you mean Whistler, but that doesn't count. :)

My favourite would be Christmas because most everyone seems to be happier during that time, of course there are also a lot that aren't because they have no family, etc. and that's sad.

Christmas. You can sing more at Christmas than at any other holiday. Then again, I sing everywhere I go, no matter what time of day or what day it is.

I blame Christmas a few years ago for my sudden change in physical appearance (gained some fat :p ) so I don't like it any more. Um..I like Saturdays

I love Christmas. I get to have a two week break from school, which I usually need, and I get to see my family. Too bad it's only once a year. =o

New Years and Independance Day are my favorites.

What's "Independance Day?"

Hey, now that I think about it, I think christmas is to blame for the ice capes melting and the holes in the ozone layer.
Damn you christmas!

Oh, I LOVE children! But I could never eat a whole one. They go better with Hot Sauce, though.

What's "Independance Day?"

American 4th of July. Celebrating the day we said "Screw YOU!" to England.

What's "Independance Day?"

Independance Day is a celebration where American males get drunk and shoot off cheap fireworks for cheap laughs.

(Technically though, it celebrates America's Independance as undeadhero stated)

Labor Day. You get a day off from work, without having to deal with all that family togetherness and 'true meaning' gibberish. Plus no decorations.

Very true, SD, very true. No one ever complains that Labor Day is over-commercialized.
