yip dark yojimbo hed make a good door he is the inly dark aeon i need to defeat and i want to c penance any tips???????
plz help for the sake of my ps2 controllers :p

You've got to defeat him five times in a row, which sucks. You can't just beat him once, save, then continue on if you get defeated. Each time you restart, you still have to beat him five times. You can recover health at the Save Sphere in between battles, but it's not possible to get into a random encounter in order to re-charge overdrive gauges.
My strategy worked like this: Have someone with a weapon with the Initiative ability. At the start of the fight, switch them for Yuna, with a full Overdrive gauge. Be sure that Yojimbo (not Dark Yojimbo) has a full gauge, too. Summon Yojimbo, give him 80,000 gil or so to be sure of getting Zanmato. Next battle, Grand Summon him and repeat. After this, though, you won't have access to Yojimbo's overdrive, so the chances of getting Zanmato are radically reduced. The real fighting now starts...
At the beginning of each battle, make sure that someone has Initiative ability, so you get to make the first move. If that character's not part of your core fighting team, switch them for someone else. In any case, make sure that your first move is to cast Hastega on your party. Then use Aim several times to increase accuracy.

Now, start attacking with Quick Hits. You'll miss often, but hopefully not as often as you'll hit. Keep a close eye on the CTB indicator...

When Dark Yojimbo's turn is about to come up, have Yuna call an Aeon. The Aeon will get to attack once, maybe twice before it is killed. However, only summon an Aeon when you absolutely have to - basically, if the next move is going to be Dark Yojimbo's. Save your Aeons, but make sure they always take the hits, not your party. Dark Yojimbo's attacks are supremely deadly - Wakizashi does up to 99,999 damage to the entire party; Daigoro causes up to 99,999 damage to one character, and instantly petrifies and shatters that character, taking them out of the fight completely. Kozuka is the least potent, but can still KO nearly anyone with a single hit.

Dark Zanmato is the worst of all. NEVER, EVER let Dark Yojimbo hit your party with his Overdrive; make sure an Aeon gets hit instead. There is no defence against Dark Zanmato; even Auto-Life gets negated.

If your party's strong enough and accurate enough, Dark Yojimbo should fall before you run out of Aeons. Then, immediately go back to the Save Sphere and revitalise your party. Whatever you do, don't reset the console or leave the cavern. Doing either means you've got to fight all the battles again. Make sure you've beaten Dark Yojimbo completely before leaving; there are five battles in total, followed by a cut-scene with the Warrior Monk summoner who called Dark Yojimbo.

But ofcourse you don't need to use Zanmato at all. :p
And Dark Yojimbos attacks (except Zanmato) really don't have to be all THAT deadly.
If you've got 255 defense they will do minor dammage. Well... still pretty much but nothing close to 99,999.
Your party will survive all those attacks without too much trouble if you've got 255 def and stoneproof. High speed is very important so make sure your characters have as much agility as possible. And like Big D said... ALWAYS keep an eye on dark Yojimbos overdrive gauge. There's really no way to survive it if you don't block with an aeon.

Also... having high Accuracy and Luck is a big + since that will help you hit him more often.
