Terra is by far the coolest. Her balance of Magic power and Physical attack strength enhanced by the atma weapon and her esper form make her a complete powerhouse.

I also love her theme song like I would love a child.

I agree with you on Terra's theme song. It's really beautiful.

But you did know (right?) that when Shadow joins you the second time he doesn't run off and steal your equipment. That's just a one time (if I remember correctly. Please don't take it to yourself if I remembered wrong, I haven't played the game for a while).

Let's say that you have Shadow in your party. You know how he just randomly leaves after a battle, with no warning? Well, let's say that when you get Shadow, you buy really nice stuff for him and you have him decked out like a madman, entirely instructable. Then he randomly leaves after the battle, taking your cool stuff with him.

My favorite charater gameplay wise is definitely Gogo, because s/he can do anything that any other character can do.

But storyline wise, it would have to be Setzer. I've always loved the guy who uses dice and cards to fight. I mean, Cait Sith is my fave char from FF7 for that very reason. I also like Gambit WAY more than Wolverine or Cyclops.

They were all developed so well (besides Gogo, Umaro, and Mog) it's hard to pick one. My favourite fighters were Terra, Setzer, Sabin, and Edgar. My favourite backstory/personality would be Locke, Shadow, Setzer, Celes, and Cyan. Judging by that, I would say my favourite overall character is Setzer.

Being the only trully successfull villian in all of the Final Fantasies, plus the fact that he was trully insane made him so fun to watch. He was the villian I just loved to hate, it felt good kicking his arse, but it was also fun to watch him kick everyone's arse.

I had always wanted a movie made about FF6, just because of Kefka. Jim Cary would have made an awesome Kefka...

My sentimental favorite was Gau, just because he was crazy.

As far as usefulness, especially at the end of the game, hands down it's Celes. Strap her with Illumina/Minerva/Paladin Shield and she's virtually untouchable. Make her relics Economizer/Gem Box and she's a one woman wrecking crew.

I'm gonna have to stop ya there. Sephiroth was a successful villian, I mean he was insane, but he was cool about it, also instead of cowardly poisoning people that you (the player) didn't know, he killed Aries, a charater you've had time to grow to like, and while he removes his sword from her he smiles!(kinda hard to spot, but he does). Altho Kefka was a very unique character and Jim Carry could so play that part!

I never liked Shadow too much, in all honesty. Never did. He's decent at everything, and the only thing special about him is the Throw command, which comes in handy with Skeens on the Floating Continent but that's about it.

The favorites would have to be Umaro and Edgar. If I had to choose one, it'd be Edgar, just because I'm a lot like him (engineer, chivalrous, etc.), but it's prettymuch a toss-up. Umaro is awesome, and I'm kinda big on the Sasquatch theme anyway (obviously, hence the name...plus it's a nickname).

Mog is pretty damn cool too. Dances, looks cool, and uses a spear. By the way, which FF was the first one to come up with Moogles? I don't remember them in FFIV.

It seems to be accurate for the most part. The article itself reads, however, that the original Seiken Densetsu was intended to a side story to FF, and that it was similar to FFIII, the most recent FF installation at the time. FFIII, which included moogles, was originally released in 1990, and Seiken Densetsu in 1991. Thus, I'm not sure how it is that they're claiming that moogles first appeared in Seiken Densetsu. I suppose it could be because FFIII wasn't released outside Japan at the time, but that wouldn't reflect the actual first appearance.

It's also worth noting that there were beavers in FFII that Guy/Gus could communicate with. These beavers bore a striking resemblence to moogles and can probably be considered their predecessors.

Sabin probably, but Gogo and Umaro are cool because hidden characters are cool. They should have made some way for you to get General Leo...his attack was awesome, and he was tough. Maybe in a remake for PS3 someday.?
