Unfortunately there is no way to move the story forward without following his instructions, so make your way to the next cave.

There it is, good and sealed. Completely <u>safe</u> from infiltration by the enemy, I guess our only option is to remove the seal and protect the crystal, or in more common speak "do the dirty work for the enemy yourself... again..."

Trap Doors are a real pain, and you'll be surprised the first time you have a run in with one. That surprise will slowly diminish as you realize that every single door in the entire cave is a trap door. Expect to die a great deal of times in this place learning which trap doors have absolutely nothing behind them and avoiding them.

On a side note, there is a positive side to coming here, you'll be able to encounter palette-swapped VampGirls <3

Soon enough (HA! don't kid yourself) you'll find the crystal room.

Beside being an extreme amount of white and blue, FuSoYa comes into your party at level 50 with all the good spells standard making him loads more important than anything he had to tell you.

Golbez will surprise the party with an evil statement somewhere along the lines of "GOSH Everytime I come up with a good plan to destroy the world you mess it up!" But don't worry, Golbez is finally going to come around.

After a bit of convincing from the gang, Cecil finally gives in and lets the girls tag along. After all, considering this is the last time your party changes before the end of the game, he had to concede eventually for the sake of 5 members.

And lucky for us, there is absolutely no one that gives in with as much enthusiasm and unnecessary punctuation as Cecil.

"our common cause!" just happens to be the only cave we haven't previously visited on the moon.

This cave is, in fact, hailed as one of the most important locations in the history of video games. This is because it is the origin of the mysterious optional location with no hint of who, or what awaits that has become prominent in modern console RPGs.

They eh... Well, they hadn't quite mastered it yet.

Make your way through the cave, taking care to pick up the treasure chests and dispatch undoubtedly some of the toughest enemies in the game thus far. But wait! Don't cross that single-column land bridge just yet.

It might not look it, but apparently there is a huge foul beast standing directly in front of you here. My guess is that Behemoth has a special cloaking device, employed by the Final Fantasy IV enemy designer in order to cleverly evade actually drawing the beast by handing in blank pieces of paper as the conceptual designs.

Well, the cloaking device is swiftly lifted from Behemoth upon stepping on his panel, and if I were you I'd be careful. Behemoth will attack you twice for every bit of damage you deal to him and he's extremely powerful. In fact, this fight is reminiscent to fighting zombies with Cecil and Rydia at the beginning of the game, except imagine all of your members as Rydia. Strangely enough, Rydia is probably the most useful member in these battles as she is capable of dealing the most damage to Behemoth in a single turn.

A few high level spells and summons and Behemoth will go down. Now heal up for the next one! Eventually you will come to the end of the cave, housing two of arguably the most useless NPCs in the Final Fantasy series to date.

When I first arrived here I thought that these two textboxes were my reward. I'm going to be perfectly honest with you, I was satisfied.

Eventually you will overcome the true king of summoned monsters, proving yourself to be a group of incredible strength and will.

After the game is done taking advantage of the entire color spectrum and the smoke, confetti, and chicken feathers have cleared you'll find yourself in the final dungeon. It's the longest, toughest and most frustrating place in the entire game.

Make your way through the the dozens of floors and secret passages and eventually you'll come upon the first sealed weapon.

This guy wants you to go to eternal gloom of the Dark World, however, it's much easier to just kill him.

Make your way back down toward the Moon Core. You should have a much easier time with your new suit of armor and extra levels. When you feel you're ready, save your game and proceed to the final area.

For the first couple screens here you'll face the hardest groups of random encounters in the game, including double sets of Behemoths and Dragons. You know you've reached the last screen when you start facing Mind and Breath for every encounter.

Rosa should be doing nothing but keeping your HP up and your members alive, so put that bitch to work. Finally Be sure to have Edge nail Zeromus with your spoon for a whopping 9999 damage. Soon enough, Zeromus will fall and you'll be rewarded with the heartwarming and stunning ending of Final Fantasy IV.

Well done, indeed. Zeromus is destroyed, and peace can once again return to the world, underworld, and moon of Final Fantasy IV.

I mean, sure there are probably still probably aggressive mythical beasts in every corner of the world, just waiting to randomly encounter any unsuspecting person who takes so much as a single step out of a town or castle, but that's completely beside the point. What's important now is that the people of Final Fantasy IV, NPCs and heroes alike, can now finally go on with their lives, and pursue their own personal goals and desires without worrying about giant destructive robots and crazy moonmen compromising them. In fact, the first example of this is about to happen!

The ending of Final Fantasy IV is surprisingly similar to that of a dating simulation hentai game ending, where two of the main characters, usually relatives of the same gender, finally end up sleeping with each other.
