If you put your curser on the google ads and use the scroll thingy it will scroll the ad down some.

Google uses frames or iframes for their ads. They could put a whole website in there if they wanted.

The solution here is don't use Internet Explorer. I know the original poster didn't even post a screenshot from IE, but that's a solution to life in general, not just this problem.

Nothing I can do about it. Sorry.

And in my opinion, disabling google ads is really unfair to websites. It is what pays for our hosting, and it's incredibly non-invasive. I can understand blocking popups, but the more and more things like google ads get blocked, the less and less websites are going to be sucessful. Just my opinion though... I know, I know, you weren't ever going to click anyway.

Speaking of ads, in every page in the eoff main webpage except for the main index page, the ads blob fits inside the intended webpage borders. In the index page the ads blob sticks out :(

The ads always look fine to me. Nice and profitable. *click*

This is fun. On certain threads, the google ads have ads for the topic or for something that sticks out the most.

Take this thread for example. In my browser, I have ads for Da Bears... which I blame Bert for.

The one and only reason I don't ruthlessly block Google ads like I do all other ads is because Google ads are displayed on this forum. Oh the sacrifices I make.

nm, there's no ads in the mainpage (for me anyway. I don't even see the ads picture). There are only ads in the visitor's center, etc.

Yeah, teamvip bought ads on the main page and FFXI section this month.
