This is one of my favorite songs from Final Fantasy VIII's marvelous soundtrack.
So what do you think of the song? For me it displays just the right amount of emotion without getting cheesy.
How could you not love this track...or the enitre soundtrack for that matter.

Fragments of Memories
I soar eahc time I hear this tune, it keeps reminding me of the love
Ellone and Laguna shared for each other.
Overall I really consider this a true masterpiece.

Under Her Control
Oh my god one of my favorite tracks ever!
The song is jazzy and cool all at the same time...an extra plus; it plays whenever you enter Deling City...my favorite Final Fantasy city of all time.

Julia's Piano - Eyes on Me
The best track on the entire soundtrack.
In my opinion one of the most memorable moments in Final Fantasy history is when Julia plays the piano during Laguna's senario.

Fishermans Horizon
Again, another terrific track...you really have listen to this track...for no words could ever describe its beauty.

So vote on one of my favorite tracks from Final Fantasy VIII.
P.S: Final Fantasy VIII has the best soundtrack.

Boy you sure like those midis. Some of my favorite tracks aren't on there, like the boss theme and man with the machine gun, so I chose Deling City aka 'under her control'.

Out of your list, I'd say 'Fragments of Memories' is the best. It really captures the innocence of Ellone as a child.

My favourite midi, however, is 'Ride On'

1) Fragments of Memories (Perfect!!!!!!)
2) Julia's Piano - Eyes on Me (Good! But I prefer 'Eyes on Me'.)
3) Ami (Good! I think it's very similar to 'Where I belong'.) :confused:
4) Fishermans Horizon (so-so)
5) Under Her Control (really baaaddd.)

So, I voted for Fragments of Memories ...
Anyway, my most favourite is 'Wine and Roses'.

Even though FFVIII is NOT my favorite...I still think it has the best

every song has a certain way of telling its own story.

Of the five listed, I like 'Ami' the best. However I like several tracks more, including: 'Lunatic Pandora', 'Maybe I'm a Lion', 'Liberi Fatali', and 'Heresy'. I like evil sounding stuff. :D

Juilas piano theme
Eyes on me is amazing. One of the best songs in ff history. Faye Wong is incredible. Oh and nabou uematsu creates some of the best musiac ever!

I love everything from FFVIII; I think it's Uematsu's masterpiece. I have piano versions of "Eyes On Me," "Ami" and "Fisherman's Horizon"...and I played them all at my wedding three weeks ago.

I AM that much of a dork. :D

Out of the four, I voted For Julias Piano music. Then I would say it goes, in this order, Fragments of Memories, Ami, Fishermans Horizon, and finally Under her control.

My favorite track from FF8 though, is the Oath. (Squalls theme) It's perfect, and has quite a bit of passion to it. Great song overall.
