chaos: Which Gundam do you find your favorite from the complete saga, which is said to be the "Star Wars" of Japan?

chaos: Actually, they all have different stories in different eras. I just felt like saying complete saga :D
Rubedo: But from what I've heard, Gundam Wing and SEED take place in pretty much the same area, only different times, although I'm not sure.

No opponent can stand up to the might of the <a href="http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/g/gf13-066no.htm">Nether Gundam</a>!

chaos: I'm a fan of SEED and Wing. Haven't really caught a large glimpse of the older ones, besides Mobile Suit Gundam.
Rubedo: Wing because it had more storyline than robots beating the crap out of eachother, and that the characters had interesting and realistic backgrounds. SEED starts off a tad boring, but after episode 29 when Kira kills Nikkoru, and Asuran kills Tolle, things start to heat up.
Trowa: Above all though, SEED Destiny shines as well. Although I've only downloaded and seen four episodes of it, it definetly grabbed me in with intense plot, great fight scenes and animation.

chaos: It's worth it in most cases. Probably the best fight scenes from any Gundam that I have ever seen. :D

chaos: Same here, I didn't like "G Gundam". Mobile Suit Gundam was good though, a lot more realistic than the others, storyline wise.
Rubedo: I watched all of Wing and Endless Waltz and loved it. The villan was someone I knew from the first episode, and a great one nonetheless.

Zechs > all same with Tallgeese
Ouch!

Tallgeese owns, so does Epyon and Wing Zero. I'm partial to Heavy Arms myself.
I never got into Mobile Suit Gundam, and I absolutely loathed G-Gundam. I loved Gundam Wing, but like many animes, I moved and got cable instead of satilite so I missed half of the series. I'm waiting to buy the box set of Wing and Seed. I saw about half of Wing and only a couple episodes of Seed at a friend's house, but I'm deeply in love with them both. <3

chaos: Just so you know, Gundam Wing floods with storyline in the second half, as most of the story moves out to space.

I've only really watched Wing, so... either Epyon or Tallgeese III.

chaos: For me, my favorite Gundam was definetly Tallgeese from GW. It's speed was incredible, and when used in fight scenes, they showed it's true glory.
Albedo: *Laughs maniacally*

The original movie trilogy (made after the series was cancelled in Japan) is by far the best of what I've seen plotwise. It's deep, emotional, and brings up some very good issues, not to mention having some great battles. But if you mean favorite mech....it'd have to be the "God" or "Burning" Gundam from G Gundam.

I have seen MSG, Wing and now Seed. Seed and wing are my favorites. I don't know which way to call it and I am not going to yet because I just got off of Seed.
I really like Seed because it seemed to be just like MSG for those first 29 episodes then went in a new direction...except those first 29 episodes were not any where near as boring as those in MSG. At least you knew the characters and their relationships instead of they are more or less "the crew".
I tried to watch Gundam Z and V but I just couldn't get into them. I am probably going to start watching Destiny once I get some FMA burned and off my hard drive.
