I think someone should start an AOL praise thread. That would make me ROFLMAO like burning.

:radred:

America Online is the best Internet thing to hit the face of the earth, ever. Currently, it lets me get online and talk to all of you fine people. I think we should discriminate against everyone who doesn't use America Online because they're computer nerds, and not too cool (like me, obviously) to learn to use other Internet type things. Please feel free to use this thread to discuss why America Online is the best Internet thing ever.

PLEASE NOTE: I expect this thread to be taken just as seriously as the Firefox thread.

I know what you mean, these no frills rubbish like telewest and whatever a US equivilent may be just don't provide the same level of service and additional extras as AOL can truely provide.

And also where would we be without a cool service that runs on a great browser like Internet Explorer? Well probably hacked to death by sensible hackers who realise that open-source software gives them a nice blueprint and manuel on how to create better virus' and spyware.

You're more likely to get "hacked" while using Internet Explorer or the AOL browser than with Firefox. It's been proven that Firefox is more secure than IE. I don't know where you guys are getting your facts, but they're wrong.

Also, if you'd take the time to use Firefox, you'd know that it has more features than IE.

EDIT: Edited the topic title to make it more clear.

One day I will teach you about parody and the use of parody to show annoyance towards others actions :D

If only I, too, could be a virus and spyware-infested Micros~1 whore, too.

Internet Explorer is like an STD-ridden town bicycle. If you want to get infected, it's the tool for you!

Internet Explorer is the sleeping-around, STD-ridden browser. If you want to get infected, it's the tool for you!

Well thats one way of putting it but we feel here at Microsoft4You that we attract a classier, more high end form of spyware with sexier curves and better interfaces which are harder to remove.

I do believe the US equivelant of America Online might just be AOL. Call me crazy.

If that was intended, though, I just made myself look like an ass. Go me.

I actually meant the equivilent of telewest but hey and it was all good humored sarcasm anyways so no offence is taken this end :<3:

EDIT: Edited the topic title to make it more clear. That's fine.

All cool people have STD's.

And, I know this is actually undermining my own argument, but who really wants to hack an AOL user anyways?

To be very honest, I use FireFox, and I like FireFox better, especially on my laptop. But I think the FireFox threads we keep having that flame people who use other browsers are not only against the rules at this forum... but really really silly.

Just my thoughts, though.
