let me post a spoiler in this...okay. Some people are saying that they aren't too sure if Sephiroth dies and that, since the man in the wheel chair sound exactly like Seppy, that it may be him, only weak and fragile afetr being defeated by Cloud. Also, another reason to think this is somewhat because he's with the SHM and is helping them with what they're doing, but that's a different story..well same story, only different scene

My fave characters in FF7 is Sephiroth(of course).. and then I also like Vincent, Cloud and that red-haried guy from the Turks, Reno or whatever his name is.. :p But I always have and always will like Sephiroth the most.. :love:

I think there would be 0.1% chace it would be the next door neighbour or the kid playing in the playground. I'd stick to Rufus or Sephiroth. :p But for the love of god, I hope it's not Sephiroth.

Exactly, you have absolutely no idea how Sephiroth sounds. The only game where Sephiroth had a voice actor was Kingdom Hearts, but I doubt they'd use Lance Bass.

I agree with Omecle, though. The man in the wheel chair is definately Rufus. In a trailer, the one from the Venice Film Festival I believe, the man was refered to as "Mr. President." The only presidents in the game were the Shinra presidents. Rufus was never shown dead, and it's possible that he could have survived the WEAPON'S attack.

Also, Rude is seen standing next to the man in the wheel chair. Now, first off, Rude is a Turk, a Shinra impolyee. Second, Rude always viewed Sephiroth as an enemy. It only makes sense that it's Rufus.

About not being sure of Sephiroth's death: he desintigrated into little pieces in a big ball of light thingie, how do you survive that?

I hate to be the guy who always complains, but I've got more. I can imagine the SE is going to treat Advent Children as a game as far as publishing it. That would mean that Europe would get the game a couple months after the US as their SE Europe will need to get it translated into all the necessary languages.

Okay Seppy'schick, (Sorry, I just call him that) I hope it's not expensive or I may have to steal it :D Well, I really want to buy it. It might cost as much as a regular, new DVD, although this isn't a regular DVD. For Omecle, so it might be the old man down the street :chuckle: WEll, I hope that's it's somebody I actually know instead of another new character who nobody knows and leaves you looking at the screen like, "who in the HeL?" Reno and Rude did forst appear with the man and asked Cloud for his help as a bodyguard, and seeing as how Cloud declinesd, (I can't type riter ight now) But I'd like to keep options open, esspecially sence someone from the SE web page said that it might be Seppy, or someone else. I had to get off after I reasd it so I don't really rememebr who else was mentioned. Go ahead and add more cents. Add a quarter and a fiftycent piece too

I highly doubt that Sephiroth would allow Cloud to be his body guard. He and Sephiroth are bitter enemies, it wouldn't make sense. Though Cloud and Rufus aren't particularly friends, at the end of the game when Shinra dissolves that rivalry dissolves as well. This can be seen that you have an option not to fight the Turks in your visit to Midgar.

What I'm wondering about is how the Advent Children tie in with the main plot. If I remember correctly, when the movie was first announced, there was a disease mentioned, the Star Scar Syndrome. Various sources then pointed to the "Advent Children" as kids who had an imminuty to the virus.

Now Star Scar Syndrome has become Geostigma, a disease created by the planet that affects all who have JENOVA cells present in them- the planets final attempt to completely destroy the crisis from the sky. Cloud is obviously suffering from it, and if Yazoo, Kadaj and Loz are truly Sephiroth clones, they're suffering from it too.

I wonder, the children who we see Kadaj preaching to, they are probably the Advent Children. It's strange, though, what makes them so special? Any human without JENOVA cells is immune to the virus.

There is one small tid-bit in particular that makes me believe that there's something different about this group of children as well. It would appear that at least one of them, the boy with the shaggy blonde hair, has some sort of relationship to Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo. In one scene, his eyes turn into the cat-like sliver for a pupil. We have seen this in both Kadaj and Loz as well.

Are the rest of the children like that? Are the children even human, or are they half-human beings cloned from JENOVA? Questions like that should be left for the movie.

I don't think it would ruin the story, it would be somewhat of a plot twist seeing as how everyone thinks that it's not him but it'll turn out to be him and then he pulks off the mask saying that's it's not him but then he pulls out the muramasa and says that it is him and that he had just been injected with botox

Well the thing is Zaphier (Ouch!) and myself have given proper arguments (mostly Zaphier). Zaphier explain properly how it is not Sephiroth and it has more information in it than your imaginary, tangable posts.

And I think a few people would agree with me, that it would ruin the story. Aerith and Sephiroth are dead. D.E.A.D. We saw Sephiroth get all chopped up, and I don't think he's coming back.

You can keep posting your thoughts of imagination, but you in a thread where you claim to know everything, you need to provide proper information. Not what's going on in your head.

True, nobody officially knows who the man in the wheel chair is, but we have a pretty damn good idea. Pressing for Sephiroth is a dream. Like Omecle said, there is no evidence behind it. I've given you reasons why it is most likely Rufus, and all those reasons also make it almost sure that it is not Sephiroth.

Don't take this offensively, it's just a little heads up. If you're going to make a thread about "Everything You Need 2 Know", it would be best that you are informed and can analyze the important information.

That you for the indirect flame there. First of all you don't go onto forums claiming you know everything about the trailers of a movie and not have a definate idea of all the information. Zaphier has basicaly summed up what I would have said.

Zaphier and myself tried to discuss the ideas here and all you and your friends have said is how much you like Sephiroth and how cool it would be to have him be the guy in the wheel chair. No evidence there.

The point of my post? Well, basicaly, don't make a thread claiming you can help people out with stuff. You could reply to threads to further help people that are asking questions, or you could open up a thread that can be discussed without the general chat inbetween.

I'm not trying to be rude or harsh about this, it's just the way I see what forums are about (different in each section). I would have been happy to discuss why you think it's Sephiroth in the wheel chair and not Rufus but all you have said is "You never know" or that you like Sephiroth. Anyways, adios.

No you didn't. I'll take that under consideration, anyways, The question about the guy in the wheelchair, no one knows the answer to like a said. If you ask someone who isn't part of the crew that made the script and movie, then nobody could know. The answer would have to be an opinion of the person you're asking, which is why this is one of the dumbest arguments/conversations I have ever been in besides the debate over who stole my cheeze-it and didn't tell me. OKay, No one besides the makers have an answer, so nobody other than that could tell you for sure. Hey, It could not be Seppy, or Ruffy, it could be someone else in the Twilite Zone. Nobody knows, that's where I'm getting and Omecle first asked the question probably (just saying mmaybe yu knew) that the answer was someone's opinion and not a true fact. You're completely missing our point. We're not arguing that we know who the man in the wheel chair is, we're arguing that given all the information we have, there is the greatest probability of it being Rufus and that it is highly unlikely that the man is Sephiroth. It's so unlikely, in fact, that I'd it's verging on being one of those rumors similar to ways to revive Aerith without a gameshark.

I know what you're saying, and what I;m saying, so now that we both each other's POV, we're cool...I was wondering what would Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz want with Rufus if it was him. I think that they're trying to bring back Jenova or something because there's this one part where Kadaj is saying mother over and over. ..

In the scenes with Kadaj by the man in the wheel chair, they seem to be alone together. I can make an educated guess about why this is.

SE has said there is going to be one huge fight with pretty much everyone, in this scene they'd play a version of One Winged Angel. From similar backgrounds, we can assume we've seen little bits of this fight: when Red XIII, Cid, Yuffie and Barret first show up all fighting Bahamut. Reno and Rude are also seen turning around and going at Yazoo and Loz.

While Kadaj is with the man in the wheel chair, nobody else is with them. They're alone. Sometime during this conversation we see Kadaj shoot off the giant beam from his arm- summoning Bahamut. So while the fight being described above is happening, Kadaj is with the man in the wheel chair. That would explain why Rude and Reno are going up against Yazoo and Loz.

Incidentally, this fight would be where Cloud goes off with his limit break attacking Bahamut.

As for Kadaj calling on about his mother and the revival of JENOVA...

In one trailer an ambiguous voice says, "It seems they have recovered JENOVA's head." and then afterwards another voice says, "A reunion. You feel it too, don't you?"

As far as I'm concerned, that's the seal on the deal. "You feel it too, don't you?" is most likely directed at Cloud from either Kadaj or Yazoo. It just makes the most sense from what we know about the plot thus far. They all feel the calling of a Reunion because JENOVA's last remains is calling to them.

Yazoo, Kadaj and Loz seem to feel the same way about JENOVA as Sephiroth did after he fell off his rocker.

Let's not get into this again, the loads of evidence point to Rufus. Sure, WEAPON shot at the building, but it was still standing at the time Meteor fell. It's likely that he may have survived, and everything seems to point the fact that he did.
