stops at cid's launch

im having this problem with like.. my computer just stopps whenever i get to cid's spaceship launch thing.. with shera and stuff.. its the :30 countdown.. :( how do i fix it?

Why do people always post in the FF7 section about these sorts of things? It's not the games fault, it's either you disc or your computer (or in some cases your playstation). I'd put this in the Help Forum, more people will help out.

Do you mean, how can you stop the timer? Cause the timer is not stopable, you cannot prevent the rocket from being launched. And if it gets stucked with FMV, just press X it will skip the movie then if I am correct. And if not just lay down your controller and don't touch a button untill the FMV is over. It happened to me also a few times, but somehow, the PS cannot get it. So, just keep trying or skip the FMV then.

And Omecle I don't want to give you a lecture or something like that. But the poor gamer is maybe new on this forum and they don't know where to post it and if they have problems with something that's related to FFVII, they post it here.

If you're that far in the game, surely you can open the menu, go to configure and set the whole keyboard up as you wish.

It sounds like you have a scratched disc or it's the game not functioning properly, as Omecle suggested. I doubt pressing any button is going to help it. Why not go find the patch for the PC version and download that?

You're right. But I reconfigured it at the beginning so, I sometimes forget what the original buttons are. Very annoying with mini-games.

well actually.. i hate it. i dont particularly like fmv's except when they're eally graphicy :D but i love ffvii nonetheless
