First of all, that trailer had been released in Feburary, if you look at the date it is posted on the site. Second, they could have meant Summer for Japan. (Yes it's true, season times are different all around the world)

Even so, I don't think it would be finished this year, I would think it would be the start of next year. But hey, they could suprise me. :p

Its unlikely that we will get the movie this year I think. Typicaly doesnt it take a few months for anything released in Japan to be released over here?(in the states), which means even longer for everyone else typicaly. The movie isnt even released in Japan yet,which means that anyone that had this movie on their christmas list will be disapointed. I think if the movie is released this month, or even next month, it porbably will not reach the US until January or Febuary.

Well, they're talking about making a worldwide release for AC, in other words, MIGHT be releasing AC might be release in the US at the same time as Japan. I said MIGHT.

I was under the impression that the movie is still only 85% complete and will release in Japan in Spring along side Final Fantasy XII, I guess the only way to find out is to just wait and see.

yeah i read that AC is comeing out in japan in the winter of 2004...but then there's always the chance it could come out in spring of 2005...but dose that mean america won't get it untill 2006? or will it be out next year? and if it's 85% done how long will it take to complete the last 15% of the movie? not to be pushy i just want some answeres.

I believe it was supposed to come out around NOW in Japan, but it's nowhere near being totally finished. My guess is a Q3 2005 release in the US.

Summer in Japan is summer in the U.S., the only difference in seasons is from the Equator north, and south. ie: It is currenty Winter in the U.S. and Japan, It is Summer in South America and Austrailia.

okay..does anyone know when it is being released in Japan? I am doing a project on it for Film Studies class (major excuse to scan some of my fave websites in class :P lol) and it's really unclear when it is being release :( does anyone seriously know?

Yeah, seasons do vary around the world. It's winter on the northern hemisphere while it's summer on the southern hemisphere. Last time I checked, Japan was on the northern hemisphere.
