How the hell do you get zoneseek?

It's been ages since I last played through this game, but I am doing so again now. However, I can't seem to get zoneseek! He NEVER shows up at the auction house. I have golem already, but for some reaon zone seek never shows up. Is there a secret to getting him to show up? I am playing the playstation FFanthologies version, by the way.

There's no secret to it, you just have to keep trying. Sometimes it takes forever, sometimes it doesnt.

Is zoneseek worth it? does he have magic that is unique only to him? Is his summon powerful/useful/cool looking enough to wait it out?

EDIT: Ok, I got him, finally. However, I have another question. I forgot to pick up the atma weapon on my way to the sealed gate. Now the floating continent is up in the sky, and the sealed cave has dissapeared. Is there any other way to get the atma weapon, or did i miss my only chance?

A atma weapon can be stolen from the final boss, but you will only be able to use it in that battle. And maybie you can get some from the coloseum, but I'm not sure about this.

I think it will also be determined on type to cause you can also cast vanish and sketch on the SNES version...

I seem to have noticed that if you buy everything they put up for auction then you get the espers really fast. I think it goes Cherub Down, Golem, Recovery Ring (or whatever it was), Zoneseek.

Other than the one in the final battle, the first Atma Weapon sword is the only one. Sorry - I missed it my first time, too.
