Dagger and Freya are weak. Dagger has the upside of actually being an important character in the storyline, though, but I was upset because she outlasted the far superior summoner and so she had to go. Steiner and Quina are powerhouses, regardless of what you think of their personalities.

While Quina was the most powerfull... the remaining characters really beats him/her in character development.

It was really tough, but I went by which character the game could have done without, and that is Quina.

I thought Vivi was an essential part of the storyline, as well as Zidane of course.

Steiner was a big part of the princess' side of the story, and ended up getting a larger part by disc 2/3....

Freya had a much more interesting, more detailed story than Quina, and while Quina may be a great fighter, I don't think it deserves to beat the character closest to elimination, Freya.

chaos: Quina, in my opinion had the most character development, along with Vivi, as he/she changed from:

"I love food, food is only important!"

to

"There is more to life than food" :D

in one small quest to save the world and whatnot. Vivi is too hard to explain in just one post, as his development spans out through the whole game. Personally, I hate Freya. Her moves are weak, I find her a disgrace to Dragoons etc. etc. Steiner is alright, but, his complaining flooded my mind with thoughts of killing him. Zidane was a pervert thick and through until reaching Terra. Then, he actually gained some respect from me :D

Rubedo: Most of what I was saying was really just a joke, but still, I support Quina and Vivi as the winners.

Trowa: *Sits and stares and sits and stares* As for battle, Quina has the most useful abilities, those which I needed to use, or I wouldn't have defeated Ozma. Viva's black magic is powerful, yes, so I'd always have him in my group. Zidane was very powerful, once you took out his trance, although it happened so rarily, that I just gave up.
