We found a star
He'll score a goal for you
He doesn't like Man U
And he's called MELLOR
The clock it said
That it was 92
Oh what a thing to do
And it was all MELLOR

Watch out Heath! We're letting him loose on the Toffeemen in a couple of weeks.
EDIT: Ps sorry Czech. Republic but I couldn't resist. I'm a shallow shallow man I know. I expect retribution for this mindless plug at a later date.

I hate my job I'm gonna burn this mutha down. >=O
Seeing as how Engish fans seem to select their heroes based on a single display of skill, I'd expect to see Mellor playing up front for England by next June. How horribly shallow we people are.
I've also written a song. It doesn't really have a tune so to speak, but I guess you could call it free verse:
My Song (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/table/default.stm)
Ignore the bit at the very top of the table, that's probably a coding error. :p
To be perfectly honest, we didn't deserve to win that game. We certainly deserved to beat West Brom and Southampton, and we played marginally better than Spurs and Palace. However, we certainly didn't deserve anything from that game, and it was a great Liverpool performance.
However, I won't start panicking unless we take less than all three points from Birmingham this week. If that lot manage to take points from us it'll be a disaster.

Don't worry I'm not so naive to think that Neil Mellor is going to be a regular for Liverpool when Garcia, Cisse and Baros come back, he will probably leave next season. However after being cheated out of victory at Highbury by Francis Jeffers and having watched us dominate at Anfield last season and lose it is very satisfying to see Liverpool catch a break and beat a better team in the last minute. I'm not under any illusions that Liverpool are a better side than Arsenal as your "song" represents. I just hope we don't do a Man Utd and go off and lose to Aston Villa at the weekend.
On the night you really were the better side, and deserved the points. If you can play that well despite the lack of a 'proper' striker then you've got nothing to worry about.
Oh, and no arguments about Francis Jeffers, by the way. I could count the number of good performances he had for us on one hand. We all hate him as much as you do. :D
