Which is your favourite (if any) of this much-loved film series?

My personal favourite has to be You Only Live Twice. It has everything you could want from a Bond adventure; a beautiful setting, a decent mix of humour and action, a wonderful gadget in 'Little Nellie' the gyrocopter, and of course, an underground volcano lair.

Not only was it a great film but it starred the best Bond, the one and only Sean Connery. It was a classic 007 adventure in every way, unlike the more recent action-centred movies that have been a huge disappointment to many fans.

Anyway, which of the films do you like most, and why?

EDIT: Crazy poll, it censored one of the titles. xD

Wow. "You Only Live Twice" is also my favourite. Sean Connery is great in the film, and the storyline is also really good. But, without the cool volcano lair, this film is nothing. ;)

Goldfinger. The one film that does not have quests for some sort of world domination. Its just about making a <img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif> load of money.

I can't believe they have we can't rave about Octo<img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif> with out it being censored. It was so...awesome. "You know whats great about you english? Octo<img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gif>. A tie for me, between You Only Live Twice and Goldfinger. Each has exactly what a Bond movie should have: witty asides, wild villians and Sean Connery as Bond.

Take care all.

Sean was the only Bond. Everybody else was just a pretender. Except for Roger Moore. he was a sleaze. Freaky. and he was in that one in Egypt for which "Nobody does it better" was the theme song. Just not a Bond song. Ok, just no. yeah ok, just turn around. no. before you start, no.

Sean has this gentlemanly air about him that none of the other guys seemed to comprehend. Brosnan came close. but still wasn't Sean.

I will be like Sean someday. I'll be a million years old and still cool. and attractive to the young ladies. even though I'm married. and happy being married.

I think that Brosnan does the more recent type of Bond film well. Now that Bond has become less of a gentleman and more of an action star, it's an easier role to play. Of course, the films are inferior, but that's no fault of the cast.

and he was in that one in Egypt for which "Nobody does it better" was the theme song. That would be The Spy who Loved Me. :)

goldfinger, just begining to be big budget and not at all campy, with sean connery being quite scary.

oh, and it's On HER Majesty's Secret Service, not "your"

Not that anyone will vote that. Lazenby sucked.

I don't know why, but I have this weird relationship with GoldenEye... I really like it's atmosphere and the movie itself.

My favorite is Goldfinger. But then again, Goldeneye had Boris.

I AM INVINCIBLE!

eest - this is only the "main" series, hence Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again are not on the list.

I felt that GoldenEye was the strongest of Brosnan's films, and matches up quite nicely to the rest of the series. However, the fantastic N64 game might be affecting my opinions on this one. :D

Jaws was in both The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker, as Mr. Clown just said.
