How often do they pop?

Maybe you're just tired... and your bones needs some rest?

My joints do it all the time. I've been told by doctors that it's nothing to worry about, and that it _Isn't_ a sign of arthritis. Some people's joints just happen to click. If your experiencing no pain with it, then leave it be.

I don't think it's normal, it happens a lot. It doesn't hurt or anything so I don't think I have an arthritis and it's not because I'm tired either.

It's normal as said above. Mine do it all the time. It's just fluid and gasses being pushed out of the joint. Nothing to worry about.

If you exercise a lot and have stiff muscles they pop a lot more often. At least mine sure do.

I sould like box of firecrackers when I walk downstairs every morning. It has something to do with air moving through your joints I think. I get obsessed with having every joint cracked, so I'm glad that it's not something to worry about.

When I wake up I crack my knuckles, my back, my neck, my kness, my toes, and my elbows. It feels good. I'll stop when it starts to feel bad.

I went to a "Stomp" show once. my knees make more noise.

It's a normal part of your joints lubircating themselves. if you are above or below average weight, this seems to affect the amount and volume of popping. I'm kinda chunky, so my knees sound off like cannons sometimes.

I can crack my ankle at will, and my jaw pops every time I open my mouth semi-wide. I don't think its that bad unless your situation is extreme.

I read somewhere that the popping and clicking noise is the fluid escaping from your joints. I don't know how true that is though ... According to lots of websites I've visited, exploding kneecap syndrome (;)) doesn't have anything to do with arthritis, so don't worry about it. :) It doesn't sound too good though, does it?

I crack my fingers and neck thousands of times a day. Sometimes I save up my neck crack, and it sounds like WWII when I click it left and right. BANG BANG BANG. It feels too good. :spin:

My body was approached by the London Symphony Orchestra on account of its 'fantastic percussive qualities'. It doesn't really seem to be a problem, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I like clicking my ribs too. I pretend I'm a skeleton molesting myself.

I'm like Del. Every time I wake up, or an about ready to go to sleep my ankles start cracking like mad. However, I'm not the type who cracks every bone in his body.

But yeah....no pain, don't worry about it.

I thought I was the only one who sounded like a box of rice crispies or pop rocks when I move!

because gas/air is escaping from them, yes it may sound weird but it's true i asked my yoga teacher

it's the sound of gas condensing into bubbles as the fluid expands.

Nearly 11 years your senior, and that happens to me, too.
