Alright, we'll be implementing a world-wide currency to be used by all nations alike. Introducing the Eiz. (pronounced eyes) The Eiz has been intoduced earlier, and has been rejected, but now with nations prospering, and the growth of trade and whatnot, I think it's time to bring in Eiz as Eizon's universal currency to use when trading with other nations, and to be won after wars or battle.

Anyway, since we'll be starting off with the Eiz, every nation will start off with 10 million Eiz. The symbol for the Eiz will be Σ. So every nation should start off with Σ10,000,000.

Now, there will be taxes for some of the nations, so that will be either Σ25,000-50,000 per member for taxes which will add to the revenue for each nation. If a nation has 4 members, and the taxes are Σ30,000 per member, you should add Σ120,000 each week.

Now, with war, for each war declared, if you attack a nation and win, you shall receive Σ50,000, and the nation attacked will lose Σ50,000. If the nation successfully defends, they receive Σ25,000 and you lose Σ25,000.

Discoveries and new weapons will now come to a price. New weapons will cost you Σ500,000 to develop. Now, for discoveries, depending on what you discovered, you will be awarded some Eiz.

Eiz can also be used when dealing with other nations. If you don't have anything to trade, you can use the Eiz to buy what you want. If your nation is short on Eiz, you can sell anything for a profit.

So that's how the Eiz will work in Eizon.

So far every nation should start with Σ10,000,000.

Do you think this will work with the Eiz stipend system I've made for the roleplay? I don't see any problems myself.

I don't know, but Eiz will also be the currency for the RP. Also, each nation also can use their own currency to be used within that nation.

Holly crap! I don't have 30 grand! But i'll have it by Friday, you know i'm good for it! OK seriosly.... only 10 mil... How are nations sopose to make money? (besides wars) Plus the member taxes are out of controll!

12-14-2004, 10:52 PM
The only way to make money is to find things?

My thoughts exactly...

Taxes are also revenue. The more members you have, the more money your nation will make out of taxes.

In Aquanacus, we use handcrafted ship components as bartering items.

Just in case someone is confused, developing new weapons, however, don't mean building weapons to add to your arsenal. Once you developed weapon designs, that'll cost you Σ500,000, but you can build as many without worrying about the cost after you developed new weaponry.

This is to prevent those to create new weapons on the whim.

1: Can we borrow money?
2: Do I have to pay for my already created technology?

Agent Proto

1. I don't know, but once there's a World Bank created, I think it's possible.
2. No, technology you create from now on will start costing you.

chaos: Finally... Another question though; just using resources for war, that would cost quite a bit right? So, excluding whether you win a war or not, shouldn't you have to use up a certain amount to be able to invade? ie. means of transportation, weaponry.

Could some nations start forming academies for certain job classes? That way they can specialize in certain jobs and have an edge when using certain troop types, as well as help explain some of the training people in the RP have.

About how much would the establishment of an academy cost then?

12-23-2004, 02:14 AM
How often will this be updated?

Agent Proto
12-23-2004, 03:07 AM

The Triumphant Hero
12-23-2004, 08:21 PM
I'm taxing at Σ35,000. Oh, and I developed a new technology, so I should have Σ9,500,000.

12-23-2004, 08:45 PM
20k of Eiz for now. Im getting money FRom ZHEM!!

12-23-2004, 11:48 PM
Im still not quite sure that i understand this completely. Does the money i tax come out of the 10000000. If it dosent where does it come from?

Agent Proto
12-24-2004, 03:17 AM
It comes from the citizens. The Eiz the nation has, is for the government.

12-24-2004, 03:47 AM
What happens if i charge my citizens 999999999999999 any downside?

P.S. proto please be proto again :(

Agent Proto
12-24-2004, 03:54 AM
You can't charge your citizens that much, anyway. xD

12-24-2004, 04:12 AM
ill charge my citizens 50,000

12-24-2004, 06:46 AM

Agent Proto
12-24-2004, 09:47 PM
You're basically taxing the cities.

12-24-2004, 09:49 PM
well most nations have more citys then members so that would make sense.

12-25-2004, 02:57 AM
Why is everyone so suprised? Im tryin to be a good overseer :(
I dunno because before we voted for overseers. And noone knew about this is just happend one day?

Agent Proto
12-25-2004, 02:58 AM
Because we have enough overseers to select a new one, if needed.

OK, as far as Eiz in the RP, I'm thinking that the country must pay the salary of all player characters based on the rank they have (which I'm still tinkering with). Does this sound good to you, t3h j3ff?
