Who's your least favorite Guardian Force?

Many people site their favorite GF, but who's your least favorite and why? Mines Brothers... So far I've been least impressed with this summon. Some of it's abilities are nice, but all in all I think it's the least usefull of all I've seen, and I have all but Eden and Bahamut so far in disk 3.

My least fave is carbuncle - i summoned it (haha, anyone know the gender?) once in the whole game, and that was to see what the sequence looked like - reflect is not a spell i use frequently. I thought the brothers summon was humorous and refreshing tbh :) i promise you you'll be pleased with Eden's sequence once you aquire that GF...allows you to make a cuppa...maybe watch a bit of TV...pop out to the shops, all in time to return to your console to finish the battle. I also thought it was a shame you could only get one bahamut in FF8 too.

Eden`s prefomance is very long...Wha about Diablos?? Great!

Cerebus; I hardly ever used him, so he never got strong and took forever to appear.

But I also disliked Brothers because the animation was long and tedious to watch the whole game.

I used to not like Cactuar very much, because the damage was low, but now he's doing 10000 to all, so my respect has heightened muchly.

Probably leviathan. The summon sequence is nice, but it's too long to not be annoying, and not long enough to be too useful to boost. Plus the only time you really need water attacks is when you're fighting cactuars, and then it's just easier to fight (since they run away uber fast)

probably a second one would be siren. she's obsolete when doomtrain comes onto the scene, and I'm not all the big about wannabe mermaids.

I really liked carbuncle:) The little guy is too cute to not^_^ (and I've got moderately good memories of the one from ff5)

Siren, just Siren. She's really quite weak and useless.

Cactuar only does 2000 damage and he looks like crap.

I didn't like Diablos because he does crappy damage until on high level.

And cactuar does 1000 damage for each 10 levels or so.

you don't know the joy that is devour, obviously.

macp-- level cactuar up. He's able to break the damage limit, and hits the same every time, making him better than just about the rest of the regular damage dealing GFs. (one HP is better than not one HP)

plus you don't have to boost:D

My worst would be Pandemona...
doesn't do much damage... and doesn't look very good...
Being sucked into some large hoover bag and spat out again is not very relative...
Though Alexander, eden, Bahamut and cactuar are the best. they cause huge damage, though its quite long to watch...

Doomtrain is the train that takes the dead to the afterlife, it's hardly a carnival train. It was also quite difficult to beat the first time I played FFVI.

Eden and Cerberus. I never use them >.> Sure, Eden is powerful, but also has a long sequence and is... undefinable in appearance.
Cerberus just casts double and triple on your party and I never ever use the Magic command in battle.

Carbuncle is kind of useless, but it's cute so I overlook it *scratches its ear*
Siren is also kind of useless, but considering how early you get her I again overlook it.

My favorites are Shiva, Diablos and Trito- oops, wrong FF.

I say carbuncle, used it once and it ruined my battle and got me killed, i never use it once after tyhat, levithan was the best because the animation rocked :beer: lets drink to how awesome levithan is

Least Favorite.... pandemona. He's a over-sized, cordless, purple, vacuum cleaner...

FAVORITES: Carbuncle! - What a cute little fox-puppy-bunny-kitty-thingy! Carby sorta comes in handy when fighting magic based bosses early on.

Cerberus! Cerbie is a kool, giant, 3 headed doggy! Though I really don't use him too often, he came in handy the first and second time through beatin' the game at Ultimecia.

CACTUAR! Cactuar is SOO AWSOME! He's my true fave! I find his attack sequence hilarious especially the first.... 2 or 3 three seconds when he pops out of nowhere with the chromatically variant piccolos! Cacti Rule!

It's just opinion but I'd rather have a giant snake-like feathered serpent bird than some old man with a stick.
I'm disappointed at the lack of Leviathan in FFVI and X (though VI had Bismarck, X had no water elemental. Water is my favorite element).

Siren is the most useless excuse for a GF. What the hell does she do anyway??? Even boosted, homegirl does crappy damage, and silence. SILENCE? SILENCE!!! Come on now... I think she was the most worthless GF/Eidolon/Aeon EVAH actually. No one worse than her. Thing is, to get this chick, you gotta draw her out of that flying thing on top of Dollet Com Tower... He was hard enough at that level without having to remember to draw this useless chicky-poo... :mad: Diablos however is a different story... fave evah! :love:

Cactuar. His damage is only worth at Level 70 or above... His skills may be good, but... Squaresoft didn't have creativity on this x.o
