Hi. I love all the music on FFIX but whats the name of the tune that comes on whenever you see beatrix? I had a look for summat obvious like beatrix's theme but couldn't find nout! A lil help pls!

Beatrix's theme song is called "Loss of Me". This song is sometimes translated/referred to as "Rose of May" also, they are the same song.

The song that plays in most of the battles with her is called "Mystery Sword" sometimes translated/referred to as "Sword of Doubt"

Good question by the way. Lots of people think Beatrix's music was left out on the soundtrack because it's not titled what you'd expect.

For some reason I really dig the battle theme. "The Place I'll return to some day" is also good. Actually, I really liked most of FF9's music.

My improvisation skills leave alot to be desired unfortunatly! I usually just get the sheet music of another FF site. I have a mate who plays the piano very well (much better than me anyway!) but hates FF.....must convert her!

That and You're not Alone and Eternal Harvest.
I have the whole soundtrack and I listen to these constantly.
Also I have 7 versions of Melodies of Life I think... or maybe 6. Great song...

My favorite music from IX was the theatre battle, i think its called Feel My Blade. I use those stupid SFX things just so i can listen to the music for ages cause it only features at the start of the game and then its gone till next time...

All music in FFIX is the work of Nobuo Uematsu.

Actually, I preferred the music from FF's VI, VII, VIII, and X to FFIX. The soundtrack was good, but seemed somewhat unremarkable compared to the other games. I'm surprised, however, no one has mentioned Vamo' alla Flamenco yet. That, to me, was the game's most memorable song.

ummm.. i really like the song called "two hearts not captured" (i think) and "sucessive battles". I love "loss of me" and am learning to play it on the piano.
