Pretty straightforward. What games do you think would make good movies or movie series? I personally would LOVE to see Xenogears turned into a series of movies, and Zone of the Enders and Zone of the Enders 2: The Second Runner might also make good movies.

If you want to see the people from Dynasty Warriors watch the slew of Chinese martial arts movies that are out. Those people are legends in China and all sorts of mythology and lore surrounds them.

We already know Fabio can play Kuros as the main character. All we need is a snide old man to play Malkil, and perhaps some B-movie quality CGI for the talking Eagle, Frog, Dragon and....bear/rat/mole thing.

I'd rather see directors, producers and scriptwriters come up with some decent ideas of their own rather than whoring off gaming franchises and coming up with a big-budget pile of crap that inevitably results.

That's different. LOTR were originally book series. It's much easier to create movies from books than from games, and the quality of the movie shows.

I haven't seen a videogame -> movie translation done right, or at least done in a way that receives acclaim. Tomb Raider is okay at best, but I never really liked the movie. The plot was weak, action was cheesy, and dialogue needed a lot of work.
