Just wondering.

And by not celebrate I mean celebrate a December holiday other than Christmas. I don't want any of your "omg commercializm is teh sux and so iz religion i h8 god loL" crap. :mad2:

I don't even think I know anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas. In junior high one of my boyfriends was Jewish but I haven't even seen him in like four years.

I accept gifts. Is that celebrating?

My sis doesn't celebrate Christmas, she celebrates "Yule" or something like that, which is a Wiccan/Pagan thing apparently. Last time I checked she was anyway. I get presents either way, so call the holiday what you will...

But yeah, unless recieving gifts = celebration, then I celebrate nothing.

I know Ashi and ~Chibi*Moonlight~ don't, although it's been a while since either of them regularly posted here. I still chat to Ashi all the time, though.

I shouldn't celebrate Christmas, but I do the presents and the wishing and the Santa Claus.

In chat earlier today:

<Spatvark> Santa Claus confuses me
<Spatvark> firstly, santa = satan rearranged
<Spatvark> they both dress predominantly in red
<Spatvark> satan = old nick, santa = saint nick...
<Spatvark> santa has reindeers who have horns, satan has hrons

I don't know what your definition of irony is, but that's not it.

I celebrate Christmas as in putting up a tree and buying presents, but that's as far as it goes. In my past religion we used to celebrate the birth of Jesus in November...I think. Maybe it was January, but I don't do that either. I have a friend who is a JW and she doesn't celebrate Christmas or recognize her birthday.

I know a couple of people who don't celebrate Christmas, mainly because they don't follow Christany and follow another religion instead. Not of them post here tho. I kinda celebrate Christmas, more the OMG PRESENT ZOOM! side than anything else.

omg commercializm is teh sux and so iz religion i h8 god loL

I can't believe no one's done that yet. That should be automatic in a thread where the creator says not to post something. :p

I celebrate Christmas, though I do not celebrate the birth of Christ. As one person in EoO said, "yay for American commercialism."

I celebrate Christmas with my family as a time of good will and generosity, and while that does include discussing the life of Christ and his message, I don't really do the whole birthday omg nativity scene omg WE HAVE TO GO TO CHURCH thing.

Just a time for good will, charity, and generosity, really :)
