Hey, Anime fans. What Anime are you most looking forward too? What Anime has not been released, or is still in production that you want badly?(not anime that is out but want, as if you r like me, that list would be 100s of pages)

here is my list (some here the US already has, but its not in the UK yet :( )

yeah...what exactly is the platinum seris anyway? cause i,ve already spent £240 on the Eva Seris, then they released a box set (which i was told the UK would not get)...and now this...i,m so poor :cry: .

well actually the Platinum Series are like the "Eva Perfect Collection"..only it's a little more remastered(added with commentaries,full color informations booklets,better quality of image-graphics,animated episodes...etc..)
to tell you the truth if you already own the Eva Perfect Collection i wouldn't suggest you getting the Platinum series..it's pretty much the same..
and indeed Eva-stuff really cost a lot.. :sweatdrop

Anyone else thing Ghost in the Shell was pretty overrated? I haven't
really watched much of the series because it doesn't hold my attention,
but it seems like its popularity may be due in part to the enormous amount
of advertising for it...see also: movies such as Dodgeball, Without a Paddle,
etc. I mean, not many people knew of (for those people who aren't really
into anime) or even talked about (for those who did know of it) it until the
series was made and then it was like an advertising torrent...

And what's this about Trigun and Bebop series...es? Are there new ones or
something?

chaos: Agreed. I've been downloading episodes from every fansub, and been posting and making theories at "The Gundam SEED Forums" (www.gundams.net). Episode Twelve was the best I had seen so far, as Shinn went into SEED mode. In Episode 13, Kira and Athrun will be fighting in their revamped Gundams: The Saviour Gundam, and the Freedom Gundam. Awesome! :hyper:

I agree the GITS 1&2 movies were overrated but I enjoyed GITS:Stand alone complex,I haven't watched GITS:SAC 2nd gig,since the i don't think the fansub is complete yet.

I am looking forward to Full Metal Alchemist:the movie since the series was great,to GITS:2nd gig,the completion of the fansub of Oruchuban ebichu and whatever else Hideaki Anno and those crazy people/drug adicts in Gainax wil make

As for any anime...unless Death Note is being animated and I just haven't found out yet, I'm not really looking foward to anything.

I also really like 12 also. The one great thing was when he changed legs. I had been thinking since the beginning of the show. How is launching 4 separate parts more efficent? Now I understand. I never thought about switching legs or upper body in battle because the ones you are using are damaged.

I wonder if the other Orb members will change their mind about joining the Earth organization after they saw what Shinn did. You just know that Athran is gonna come back down and bitch slap those fools in Orb good. I also can't wait for the return of our Masked friend and the stolen Gundams. They have been missing in action for sometime now.

Actually, by definition, it is. As well as FF 7 - X-2 because of all the FMVs. It's computer animation, from Japan. It's still animation, therefore it's still anime. Though, I know that's not what I have in mind when I say "anime" but eh, it's debatable.

As for me: FFVII: Advent Children, The Gravitation OVA, Legend of the Blue Wolves (Legend of the Four Horsemen), and Sailor Stars if they ever get released.

And I agree that Ghost in the Shell may be overrated some...just a little. :D

Which group? I started off with SEED Fansubs for the first few episodes, but then, was recommended by a friend to get the downloads from AoNE Anime. That's also the group that SEED Forums favor the most (according to their poll). Also, occasionally, I download from Saiyaman torrents, even though they don't have subbed episodes. That was because the tension was killing me to watch Gundam SEED Episode 12, as it's reviews were all grand.

Yeah, I seem to like the sequences when Shinn switches parts in the middle of battle. The enemies never seem to attack when he's doing that though, but his suit is still moving, so whatever. That also gives Shinn the advantage in battle, because once his Impulse Gundam gets damaged, he can call for new parts from the Minerva.

What I didn't like about episode 12, though, was when the Minerva shot a ray of power to the Impulse when it ran out of phase-shift power. It takes a lot more time then that, IMO.

Orb? I'll admit, I hate most of them, but I find it that Cagalli is okay. I liked her from Gundam SEED, so it pisses me off when Shinn always explodes at her. Although, one time, Cagalli had it coming, when she went to seek advice from Shinn :p

I believe Freedom still has the nuclear reactor. He kicked arse in SEED; He probably will in Destiny.

Oh yeah, one more thing. About Neo, there have been MANY rumours flying around that he is in fact Mwu La Flagra, who had been killed off in episode 49 of Gundam SEED. The similarities are how they fight in battle, hair color, they both pilot a Mobile Armor, and in the special edition of Gundam SEED, the part in Episode 49 when Mwu La Flagra's helmet was floating out in space was removed. That might be implying that he survived. Also, Rey is supposed to be a clone of Rau Le Crusset (A good guy clone though :D).

I wonder if Stellar and Shinn are really going to be a pair...

I have nothing against Cagalli either. I like her and I hope she puts her foot down on the whole situation and says "LOOK BITCHES, this is how it is gonna work."

I was not annoyed by the laser recharge. I thought it was actually pretty nice because now his mobile suit isn't so restricted by the energy limit although one has to wonder how often it can be used. Normally I might be like "No way it can do that" but then again they are flying around in huge mobile suits with nuclear reactors in them.

I have not seen ALL of the seed specials yet. I only know of 3 that are subtitled. I am trying to get the other 3 but its slow going. Eventually I will have them. I had a feeling it was probably him but I just don't want it to be true. His suit exploded w/ him in the cockpit. Its not like Kira where it was another suit that exploded right next to him so there is a slight chance of survival. His suit went boom w/ him in it...not trying to get out...in outerspace.

true, but i dont own a computer, not to mention i want some nice UK DVDS so i can support the UK Anime industry. plus it looks nicer in my collection. I dont want to have to import either.

I Firgued that would be the case Dark Angel but it is Eva in the end, thus, godly. So i,m very tempted.
