Question:

I just bought my husband a PS2 for Christmas. We've been playing other games and saving them just fine on the Memory Card, but I just popped in Final Fantasy VII and for some weird reason, it's not detecting the Memory Card.

Since the card's working fine for other games, i.e. Kingdom Hearts and FFX, I'm wondering if there's some kind of compatibility problem I wasn't aware of. I thought you could play and save PS1 games on the PS2. What's going on here?

You need a PS memory card for PS games, PS2 memory card for PS2 games.

Don't worry about it, it's a common mistake. Lucky though, Playstation memory cards should be pretty cheap.

alright you dont need a ps memory card for saving ps games i have all my ps games and my ps2 memory cards but you have to save them on a ps memory card the first time and transfer them to the ps2 memory cards so ask your friends to borrow a ps memory card they should all have one.

remember if the ps had a fridge and a little sex hole it would be every man's life!!! hint hint

??? You can copy it over to a PS2 card? I'm gonna try that when I get home.
