Necron is the easiest Final Boss ever!

Necron sucks. Even Deathguise was harder than him x.x
IMHO Trance Kuja is a lot harder. At least to me, with Lv60 characters and Kuja using Flare Star like a crazy. XP
And Necron? I've beaten the game six times, and at all of them Necron was ridiculously easy. He used Blue Shockwave on my below to 10 HP Amarant TWICE! And Necron Ring does 500~1000 damage to my party...
In the fifth time I managed to beat Necron olny with Vivi and Quina!
And Grand Cross is VERY random. I think I'm sorta lucky, 'cause I nevel get serious status... only Zombie. ANd VERY rarely I get it.

Do you guys think Necron is that easy too or you think Necron is very difficult (I doubt that XD)?

The status ailments were annoying but easily blocked.

Yeah, the only difficult (for difficult see: annoying) part of that battle was the random status effect that he throws at you. Though I find him harder than Sephiroth, Kefka and Jecht, and easier than X-Death, Ultimecia, Zeromus, and the rest of FFs last bosses.

well i can't say that he is too easy but he's not hard too..especially if you have level up a lot your characters and at least you have Steiner's Ragnarok(Shock=9999) is pretty easy..
but i believe Trance Kuja is less difficult..

I know that it is very strange XP I don't know anyone else that hates Hot and Cold, like me XP
I think I'm unlucky, or I don't have the patience to Hot and Cold... I never find much Chocographs >.< I always promove my Chocobo to Reef and stop there...
But I started the game again, and I WILL get a Sky Chocobo >___<

And one more thing: Why is Vegnagun easier than Necron? O_O

I was very suprised by Necron. I had lots of status abilities equipped so he really couldn't do much to me, and what he could do was quickly undone by a shot of esuna. I think he actually managed to KO one or two of my party members, but he hardly had me on the ropes the whole time. And yes.... I DID play chocobo hot & cold, so I guess I wasted 9 hours of my life levelling up :D

Necron is to do with the game!
If you remember he is the force from Terra that was to destroy Gaia...
Even though that Garland died, the attack was still in progress...
he is the weapon that was to destroy Gaia, but was stopped by the party. The biggest question was how did they escape from the upside down Arena? were they dead? Kuja tried to do kill them... and he did and they fell out the sky to land? Uncanny...

and deathguise is nothing to do with it.... just Kuja's so called "pet".

the first time i completed ff9 i thought necron was solid but i did have garnet zidane eiko and vivi as my party so what can i say it was a bad bad party coz they were all weak but the second time i had freya garnet zidane and amarant and it was pretty easy

Eien no Yami (Necron) was hard for me. I didn't have all the status effect blockers, so that damn attacked kept killing me. I woulda died if it wasn't for Kuina's auto-life. Kuina was lv. 40. Zidan, my highest leveled character, was 51. I also used Garnet and Amaranto.

I think I found him just about suitably challenging, the levels I was at. (He was the LAST last boss, right?). So not too much trouble but not easy easy like FFX/X-2 easy ^_^

And anyway the easiness of any final boss (or boss in general) is relative to the levels you are at anyway, and most things can be made a lot easier just by levelling.

Nope. He could use Necron Ring, Firaga, Blizzaga or Thundaga to knock you off. But... Besides being very easy, Necron is very dumb. So he'd use Blue Shockwave anyway.

Necron was pretty easy for me too, the one I was worried about the most was Sephiroth, that one was hard for me, but I did beat him on the first try ;)

Umm... Sephiroth was harder than Necron. Slightly.

My first time, Necron hit me with tons of status effects. Freija just used Lancer over and over until he died, since everyone else was out of commission. After that, I wised up and equipped skills to guard against the more serious status effects and dealt with the rest using items. Necron was pathetic at that point. Who thinks the bosses should have a "Call" attack, to bring in final bosses from other FFs to help them?


VII and VIII's bosses actually made senseThank you. I was like, "Who the hell is this bozo, getting in my face and threatening to destroy everything?" Sephiroth made a LOT more
sense than Necron. (Deathguise I don't remember, been too long.)

And I didn't really like Hot And Cold either. Too random for me to want to invest much time in it. (BTW, I only speak English, so if anyone wants to reply to what I just said, do it in English, please.) :)

I can't say whether or not you're right, but I'd have to say from experience that Dark King from FF Mystic Quest was the easiest.

Necron was so easy when I came up against him I decided to lose on purpose I had party of vivi zidane ekio and dagger/garnet so I could let my sis beat him. he kill all but zidane (my sis is useless at ffs) zidane go trance and she just used loads of the free energy attack wich at that point did about 9999 damge to im lol. Yo why is everyone going on about Deathguise like hes one of the final bosses? He aint, otherwise you wouldnt be able to save after beating him....hes just like the chaos's: Blah bosses (couldnt think of a better name)

There is no boss called "Jenova Rebirth", but there is a Jenova you fight near the end of FFVII called "Jenova Synthesis", and while she is easy, she's not even near as easy as Necron.

no boss is as easy as vegnagun on ffx-2 i maen i beat it with a giant flower doing 300-400 damige a hit. though necron was pritty easy i mean i did it with what most people consider the worst team about level 60-65 Zidane Vivi Dagger and Ekio. the only thing on ff9 i havent beat was that giant beachball but i started X again and sin and seymore is real easy to beat the only boss on that i found hard to beat was yunaleska but that was because the monster near her dident give that much exp.

Ok....not rebirth then. I new it was jenova something. Anyhow, Yunalesca is simple. Just leave everyone on Zombie when she casts it. Thats all i did, then when she curagas them or whatever...you use that little majik we call life.
